Terri's POV (Miss Gaunt)

Sarah has been acting very strange the past few weeks she has been distant and very quiet, both in and out the bedroom, its very unlike her to keep things from me but whatever it is must be really bugging her. I was walking from the Library where I had spent most of the morning when I passed by a couple students chatting,

"I wonder what was up with Miss Galley today" said one of the boys at the mention of Sarah's name I stopped them and realised it was Michael and Fred,

"Boys, What do you mean 'wrong with Miss Galley?'" I dreaded the answer from the twins and braced myself for what they had to say,

"Well, we just had her for science and she seemed very spaced out-" I watched Michael intently,

"Oh did she say much, just she's been like that for a few weeks and she doesn't seems to be speaking to me about it" I smiled at them,

"Yeah we realised that but then after she set us away with our task she started to crying to herself in the lab but when we asked her if she was okay all we got back was 'just hayfever nothing to worry about' but for somebody to cry that much isn't hayfever at all" said Fred conspicuously at the word cry I was fretting, I thanked the boys and advanced towards the labs. I tried the staff room first and saw Simon the lab technician,

"Si, have you seen Sarah?" I asked he shook his head with a no, I then tried the lab she was working in with Year 11 and saw her sat at the front desk with her back to me facing the laptop, I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her torso and tucked my head into her neck,

"Sarah baby what's wrong?" She swung the chair around and looked at me face to face; her eyes were all puffy and red indicating she had been crying and her nose was all red too,

"I just-" she stopped and looked at me, "really love you" she smiled at me although I knew she was lying to me,

"Sarah, we can't ignore the fact that there is something the matter; you've been distant and very quiet both in and out the bedroom, something is clearly wrong" I said a little too forcefully. Not one word was muttered she just slid her arm around my neck and hugged me closely,

"I saw Jayne's baby" was all she muttered I sighed internally, "It looked so very small" she smiled as she pulled away from me,

"Sarah we've had this conversation" I exasperated, "WE together will have kids just not now, we need to focus on our careers as teachers, we only just started here as teachers and at the moment our responsibility is to watch over each of these students" I looked at her intently just as anger, jealousy and resentment flashed through her eyes,

"Fine, kids is not on the cards I mean we are still young and we have just finished our teaching degree it would be silly to put a good job at risk" her voice in a mocking tone of anguish and whether it was just me but a hint of betrayal,

"DON'T EVEN DARE TURN THIS AROUND ON ME SARAH, I KNOW YOU WANT KIDS BUT FOR CHRIST SAKE WE'RE 24 AND 25 YEARS OLD WE HAVE OUR WHOLE LIFE TO PLAN FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS!" I could feel my blood pressure rising as I got angrier and angrier,

"DON'T SHOUT AT ME I'M NOT THE ONE BEING STUBBORN!" she shot back,

"I FOR ONE AM NOT BEING STUBBORN I AM LOOKING OUT FOR US AND OUR CAREER WHY CAN'T YOU GET THAT INTO YOUR HEAD, I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH TO SEE YOU HAVE TO THROUGH THE STRESS OF HAVING THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CHILD!" this argument didn't feel as though it was going to go anywhere anytime soon, the whole place fell silence until there was a knock on the door,
