Chapter 22- "Perfect"

Elise POV

Today we were looking at apartments in the centre of the local city, I was stood getting ready and Sarah and Fran were both still fast asleep; I glanced the clock which just flashed 10:00. I heard little noises from Francesca's cot, I walked over and she was laid quite content with her toys that dangled above her,

"Morning baby girl " I picked her up and kissed her cheek, "do you want some breakfast?" she looked at me and smiled and began flailing her arms in front of me just missing the end of my nose. I went downstairs into the kitchen where Mam was sat with a cup of coffee,

"Morning Elise" she said sipping from her cup, I began to make a bottle up; taking out a bottle and filling it with formula. I placed Francesca on the counter still stood in front of her just holding her torso whilst I waited for the kettle to boil. I felt two arms snake around my waist and a head rest on my shoulder,

"Morning" she smiled kissing me on the cheek,

"Morning" I smiled pecking her back,

"Ladies not in front of the baby" Mam said obviously meaning not in front of her she just didn't want to admit it,

"She sees enough of it" Sarah muttered; I chuckled at her response and filled up the bottle with the water and then placed it in a sink of ice cold water to cool it down,

"We going to go get you ready for the day" picking her up from the counter and was just about to head upstairs,

"I'll take her" Mam jumped in taking her out of my hands and disappearing from the kitchen,

"Has she said anything to you?" Sarah asked; when we had come back from the funeral we told Mam about us wanting to move out and she decided it was a bad idea but I went against them and told them it was happening whether they liked it or not so Mam had a hissy fit and wouldn't speak to me for the rest of the evening,

"She said morning but that was about it" I sighed I was now fully facing Sarah with my hands wrapped around her waist as hers were slung around my neck,

"She'll come round eventually" she encouraged encasing me in a hug,

"I love you" I whispered wrapping her closer into my torso,

"Impossible" she smiled I let her go and went and checked on Fran's bottle; it was cool now so I waited for Mam to come back down with her so I could feed her; just then she came back into the kitchen with a dressed Francesca; taking her from Mam I pulled a bib over her head and started feeding her her bottle,

"Go get dressed and we can get going when I've finished feeding Fran" I said glancing over to Sarah who was stood with a mug of coffee,

"Yes your highness anything else you want" she placed a kiss on the top of my head,

"Yes" she stopped and spun round on her heel to face me, "don't be cheeky" I childishly stuck out my tongue as she chuckled and walked out the kitchen.

~20 minutes later~

"Sarah are you nearly done, you take longer than my Mam" I shouted up the stairs hoping to get a response from my Mam but nothing came,

"I'm ready" she appeared at the top of the stairs wearing a pair of jeans; plaid shirt and a pair or green converse,

"Come on then" she smiled opening the door as I followed her out, Mam agreed to watch Fran while we went apartment hunting; we found a couple online and made a few bookings to be shown them our first one was in 20 minutes and we were 30 minutes from the block of apartments,

"We're going to be late" I suppressed my worries,

"We won't not while I'm driving" she replied hopping in the car and speeding from the driveway. She wasn't lying when she said we wouldn't be late we made it there in 15 minutes,
