Sarah POV

Unfortunately summer is nearly over for us we have a week left of summer and the hard year will begin all over again; Terri was still sticking to her guns and making us go through this ridiculous escapade of lies and deceit even though we now all know the truth, you think she should have had enough by now but obviously she hasn't. I'm going miss having Elise in my class this year she was the only reason I made an effort on a morning,

"She finally fell asleep, took long enough" Elise sighed as she plopped herself on the couch beside as she snuggled up to my side, "What we watching?" I looked down at her and shrugged my shoulders,

"I don't really know not much to be honest" I took the remote and flicked through the channels,

"Want a cup of coffee?" Sarah stood up and stalked over to the kitchen,

"Nah I'm good, but one of your famous hot chocolates wouldn't go a miss" she turned around and smiled at me,

"You're so childish babe" she chuckled as she disappeared into the kitchen,

"Only for you baby" I called through to the kitchen, I continued flicking through the channels but nothing was taking my fancy so I stood up and joined Elise in the kitchen, "baby there's nothing on" I moaned as I wrapped my arms around her waist,

"What do you want me to do about it phone the TV people" her sarcastic remarks was one of the attributes that made me love her so much,

"No need for the sarcastic remark" I kissed her neck and took my mug from the kitchen counter and headed out to the porch in the garden and sat down on the steps where Elise joined me sitting her mug beside her on the top step as I did the same,

"We haven't been out here in a while" she whispered as she leaned her head on my shoulder linking her arm through mine,

"Orion's belt seems quite bright tonight" I pointed out being the science nerd that I am,

"Mm, looks pretty" she nodded, "What is it again?" She asked,

"We discussed it last year as an off topic thing" I replied,

"I think I had such a distraction last year so much I struggled to concentrate" she replied,

"Orion's Belt is a constellation of three stars obviously all in a straight line, the stars are know as; Mintaka, Alnilam and Alnitak"

"It's such as turn on when you teach me stuff like this" she whispered,

"Did you know most people think that Orion's Belt is three separate stars but it actually isn't its a system of stars"

"Really, tell me something else" she sounded intrigued,

"Well, Mintaka is 10,000 times brighter than the sun and has a surface temperature of about 60,000 degrees Celsius"

"Really?"

"Alnilam, on the other hand, is the middle star and the brightest of the whole system it is 18,000 times brighter than the sun but it is the coolest with a surface temperature of 50,000 degrees Celsius"

"And what about Alnitak?"

"Alnitak is dimmest of the stars it is only 7,000 times brighter than the sun" I finished glancing down at Elise,

"You should have become an astrologist" she muttered,

"Ah but then I wouldn't have met you and we wouldn't have the little family that we have today" I replied,
