Elise's POV

So turned out Terri wasn't taking any notice of the overwrite Dave has sent her and insisted on taking us to court so we were on our way to my Mam's to drop Francesca off,

"This is just an utter waste of time and effort" Sarah sighed from beside me; she let me drive as she said she simply couldn't be bothered,

"I know that and you know that but she will not be satisfied until she gets what she wants" Sarah said as she glanced out of the car window; I stretched over and took her hand and placed it on my leg as I concentrated on the road,

"Whatever happens I love you" I said, "and beside Dave said the courts wouldn't back her up anyway because its not in their jurisdiction to do that" I said as I rubbed my thumb over the top of her hand,

"I know" she smiled as she leant back resting her head on the head rest, "I love you too" Francesca was in her car seat playing contently with her toy bunny as we pulled up to my Mom's house,

"You coming in?" I asked removing the key from the ignition,

"May as well" she replied unplugging her seatbelt and climbing out the car; as she did I pulled Francesca and her bunny out of her seat and placed her on my hip as I shut the door and locked the car,

"Mam" I said as I walked in through the front door,

"In the kitchen honey" she called through; the house seemed very bare and empty,

"You moving Mam?" I asked curiously as I placed Francesca on the kitchen floor; she's crawling now so we let her free run of the room we are in so she can get used to her surroundings,

"No" she shook her head but looked like she was withholding something,

"Where's Dad?" I asked taking some toast from the plate in front of me,

"Oh he's gone to work" she smiled taking a sip from her mug,

"But it's Saturday; Dad doesn't have work on a Saturday" she turned away looking ashamed and angry with herself,

"Carlie" I heard Sarah say in a some what warning tone,

"Mam, for God sake what the hell is going on" I raised my voice as I looked at her sternly,

"Your Dad left me" her breathing became more rapid, "he ran off with someone called Terri Gaunt" she shook her head and wiped the tears under her eyes,

"WHAT!" I exclaimed,

"What?" she said shocked,

"Terri as in Terri Gaunt Sarah's Ex" I looked at her,

"Oh this just gets better" I heard Sarah said in disbelief,

"This bitch has a lot of explaining to do" I said as I stood up and grabbed my phone,

"Dave, There's been a break through" I said, "Terri could be carrying my siblings...I know it sounds absurd but my Mam has just told me that my Dad ran off with Terri and that he had been with her for a couple months before he left my Mam there could be a possibility it overlaps" I said, "That's great Dave I'll see you shortly" I put the phone down and looked at Mam,

"Looks like we are going to need you to come to the court hearing with us Mam, it may help our case please" I told her she nodded her head and disappeared upstairs; when she emerged from upstairs she was dressed in a full pant-suit,
