Chapter 48 - Coming Out!

Okay I'm so so sorry for the delay but the ideas havent been flowing as they should but I guess this is just a filler chapter to keep you guys updated

Sarah POV

The sunlight of the early morning seeped in from the curtains which were opened ajar; Elise's soft snores could be heard as she lay sleeping beside me but the silence was soon broken by the cries of Xavier, hopping out of bed I went to Elise's side of the bed and pulled the little guy from his cot and held him in my arms as I made my way towards the door and downstairs to feed him. Walking into the kitchen I placed him on the floor on his play mat on his back to watch the hanging toys above him as I went and heated his bottle up whilst boiling the kettle for a cup of coffee,

"You hungry little guy" I said as I pulled his bottle from the microwave testing it on my wrist and picking him up and placing him on my knee before tilting him back and feeding him. Just as I got comfortable there was a knock on the door I rose and headed for the door opening the door whilst balancing Xaviers bottle between him and my chin, when I opened the door I saw Riley stood,

"Oh hey Miss Galley" she chirped,

"Please Riley, It's Sarah" I smiled as I stood aside and allowed her to come in through the open door,

"Okay then" she said still unsure, "I came to drop off Elise's work and what not how long til she is back at college?" she asked,

"Erm, another week I think Riley" I replied,

"Sucks, but anyway" she smiled before turning on the ball of her feet,

"Do you not want to stop for a cup of coffee Riley?" I asked,

"Yeah I'll stop for a little but on one condition" I looked at her nervously, "I get to finish feeding this little guy" I chuckled at her condition and agreed; she placed herself on the sofa as I handed Xavier over to her whilst I went and finished the coffee. Once the kettle had eventually boiled I sorted two mugs out and took them back into the sitting room,

"Thanks Sarah" Riley smiled as she glanced back down at the new born in her arms,

"So how's college going?" I asked,

"So far so good" she smiled, "How's work?" she asked,

"Oh you know same old same old" I shrugged, "How's your pregnancy going?" I asked,

"Oh you know coming close to giving birth has me on edge" She chuckled

"Have you ever thought of getting a new job if your getting bored of being a secondary school teacher?" I looked at her and shrugged,

"You know with Elise and having the kids I didn't want to chance not having a job to supply for them, I was lucky enough to offered my job when the school found out I was with Elise" I brought the hot cup to my lips and sipped form it,

"But would you though?" she asked,

"If we needed the money and the job offered more money I might consider it, Why do you ask?"

"Oh no reason in particular" she smiled a devious smile,

"But..." I said urging her,

"There's a place opened up at the college and the guys and I were talking and think you should go for it partially because you're an awesome teacher but it will also allow you to keep an eye on Elise"

"And why would she need to keep an eye on me Riley?" Elise's voice came cold and ruthless as she descended the rest of the stairs,

"Oh you know" she shrugged,
