Chapter 33 - Justice

Elise POV

We had our appointment with the lawyer today; Sarah had been so distant it made me wonder why and if she was thinking about where she stands in the terms of how she has a role in Terri's babies lives. I was laid awake contemplating whether to wake her up just to ask her but I didn't think it would be very fair,

"Stop worrying about where you think I stand" I glanced towards Sarah and looked at her shocked,

"I- but I wasn't" I stumbled trying to convince her that I wasn't thinking about that,

"Baby don't lie to me you are like an open book I can read you all over" she smiled at me, "If you are worried about something talk to me please" her voice sounded worried and concerned as she sat up and faced towards me,

"It's silly really" I paused thinking of the words I was gonna use, "I was just worrying that you would think that technically Terri is having your children that you want to be with her more than me because she has your twins and I don't think I could cope with that" I continued looking at the bed cover not willing to look at her,

"Elise baby" she started, "Whatever happens between Terri and I, I promise it will not in any way effect what we have our little family is here to stay I will not have that bitch take away what we have" her finger pressed under my chin as she pulled my head up so I made eye contact with her,

"Promise?" I said to her she smiled at me as she wiped the tear from my cheek,

"If it had bothered me I would have left by now" she smiled at me; her smile melted my insides, "I love you to the moon and back and nothing can ever change that" she continued,

"I love you too" she leaned forward and kissed my lips, we carried on and soon enough we were making out embraced in each others arms as Sarah hovered above me stroking my bare sides; just then Fran began babbling through the baby monitor which was sat on the bed side table,

"Way to kill the mood Fran" I sighed as I stood up and headed to the bedroom door moving my hips a little more than usual just to tease her,

"Bitch" I heard her say I laughed as I walked out the door and headed to Fran's room,

"Hey baby" I said as I picked her up from her cot she smiled at me as she flailed her arms in the air I laughed at her and kissed her forehead.

Sarah POV

Elise had just left the room and I turned over and thought of what she had said; yes I was annoyed and let down that Terri had used the sperm that I had paid for, and there was no need to use that against me; at first I did feel obliged to give money as I was signed down to the owner of the sperm but then I thought of what Elise had said about them not even being related to me in anyway what so ever but Francesca isn't either, but I still treat her like my own child even though I am now legally her adoptive parent; but there's still that little bit inside of me which does want to help Terri but after everything she put Elise through I knew it would upset Elise, and believe me that was the last thing I wanted to do,

"Hey baby" I heard Elise say through the baby monitor and smiled as I heard her chuckle; oh how I loved to hear her chuckle and hear her happy it give me a lease of life and emotional stability; as stupid as that sounds but Elise and Francesca are my life now and I will do anything to keep that smooth sailing. I got up out of bed and walked downstairs to see Elise feeding Francesca from a jar of her baby food,

"Morning baby" I said to Francesca kissing her head as I walked past and poured a cup of coffee, "You want some coffee babe?" I asked Elise I turned around and faced her,

"Yeah please" she replied as she pulled a smiley face at Fran encouraging her to eat her food; I poured her a mug of coffee adding milk and sugar before placing the cup beside her on the kitchen table; there was a knock on the door,
