Sarah POV

It's been a couple weeks since Elise had been to her college party and since then she has been distant, snaps every time I ask a simple question and she had been quite vicious.

Elise and I were sat on the sofa while the kids were tucked in bed and as usual she was wrapped up in herself on the opposite side of the sofa; I was flicking through the channels on the TV when I couldn't stand the silence any longer and switched off the TV,

"Elise what's wrong?" I asked a little too forceful,

"Who says that there's anything the matter" she snapped back at me

"Because since that stupid bloody party you've been distant, cold and you get very agitated at any slight question I ask" I snapped back just as forcefully as the first time,

"Well I'm so sorry for having a life" she stood up and stormed off into the kitchen so it stood and followed her quick on her heels,

"Elise just talk to me that's all you need to do for God sake I'm worried about you" I said softly as I approached her but she just backed away again, "fine if you're going to act like a child you can sleep with one of the kids because until you talk to me, your fiancée, you aren't welcomed into my room" anger built up inside of me as I could feel my blood begin to boil as I stomped off upstairs into my room and jumped in the shower.

Twenty minutes later there was a knock on the door and Elise slumped in sticking to the door,

"Can I come in" she whispered, I softened at her soft approach but still remained ruthless,

"Do what you want" I replied as I continued marking my year 8 books. The bed dipped in front of me and I saw Elise sat in front of me on the bed with her legs tucked beneath her, her eyes looked tired as she glanced at me with a small sheepish look,

"I don't expect you to understand anything, but you know I love you so much I'm just not eager enough to want to tell you what happened a couple weeks back" she whispered as she ran a hand through her hair; having a sneaky suspicion what she was going to say I remained silent and let her continue on what she was going to tell me,

"Go on" I dropped the pile of books beside me as I shuffled an inch further towards her,

"I don't feel comfortable talking to you about this" she said as he dropped her head and began playing with the bottom of her pyjama pants,

"Elise whatever it is I swear I won't get mad" I smiled at her lifted her head up so she came into eye contact with me,

"Promise me you won't get mad and promise me you'll still love me no matter what" she whispered again,

"Promise" I whispered as I placed a hand on her cheek caressing it as I waited for her to divulge this hidden 'secret'

"Okay" she began but stopped to take in a breath, "when I went to that party a couple of weeks ago and when I came home I told you I spent the night with my Mam well... I lied I don't really remember much if the night before other than the drinks but to be honest I don't really remember drinking all that much" she frowned, "but when I woke up I was at Riley's and...and when I sat up...I was laid and well we...neither of us..." She stumbled on her words but I was getting a gist of what she was trying to tell me but I couldn't believe it I started to feel angry and very upset,

"Spit it out" I snapped,

"Well I woke up and we were both naked; I think we slept together" jumping from the bed I looked at her with a death glare,
