"Have you always been such a grump?" Michelle laughs as Harry scowls at her. He rolls his eyes at her question and she smiles wider. "If you keep rolling your eyes they'll get stuck in the back of your head."

Harry stops eating when she says that. His mom used to say that to him all the time and the memory leaves a hallow feeling in his stomach. Michelle gives him a concerned look and slowly puts down her fork.

"You okay? I'm just kidding about your eyes," she assures him and he shakes his head and looks down at his lap.

"I'm fine. You just brought up a faint memory," Harry tells her and she looks at him sympathetically.

"Must be hard not remember anything," she whispers. Harry licks his lips and let's out a loud breath.

"Yeah. Sometimes you want to give people information, but you just can't. I can't really say anything," Harry slowly admits to her. She nods and stabs at the food on her plate.

"Well if it comes back it'll be awesome and if it doesn't we can create memories here. I'll be your parent and guide you through life," she offers enthusiastically and Harry laughs and nods his head.

"Okay sounds great," he agrees. She just gives him a big, goofy grin and shoves food into her mouth. Harry moves his around his plate and basks in the silence. The two don't have to talk all the time and Harry enjoys just being left to his thoughts, but not left alone.

"So what do you do in the day?" He wonders and she swallows quickly to reply.

"School. They're still deciding where to place you. I suggested etiquette class," she laughs and Harry snorts as he takes a small bite of food in his mouth and chews slowly.

"Can't wait for that," he tells her sarcastically. There's a tap at his window again and Michelle rolls her eyes as she stands up and grabs her tray.

"I'll leave you with your other friend," she says and Harry frowns and looks from the window to her.

"You can stay. I'm sure he won't mind," Harry replies and she looks at the window and smiles ever so slightly.

"Something tells me he doesn't want to share your attention," she replies back. Harry's about to argue that, but the window taps again and Michelle just waves and leaves. Harry moves to open his window and Louis flies in leaving dust in his wake.

"Why don't you use my door?" Harry asks and Louis just grins and lands on his toes.

"Because it's more fun to fly. Did you and Michelle eat lunch in here?" Louis asks. He examines Harry's food tray and then his eyes move back to him.

"Yeah. We're doing that now," Harry tells him and Louis purses his lips.

"So is she your best friend here?" He asks and Harry moves to pick up his tray and toss things in the garbage.

"I'd say so," Harry shrugs. The thing he likes about Michelle is she reminds him of his mother. She's smart and doesn't take his attitude, but you can tell she cares. Plus she's an outcast and Harry likes those.

"Okay. Well, do you want to adventure in the woods? You can bring her if you'd like because you're such good friends," Louis offers, but his tone sounds snippy. Harry turns to look at him in confusion and sees no sparkles or smiles.

"No that's fine. I just want it to be me and you, Sparkles," Harry tells him and his stomach fills with fuzz as Louis glows though the boy tries to keep a straight face.

"Alright... I guess we can take the stairs down," Louis tells him. He's trying to seem serious and still upset, but Harry can see the sparkles around him and the way he's trying not to smile. Harry thinks it's quite adorable, but won't mention it. The two leave his small room and enter the hall. There's some people littered outside the doors, but neither boy pays them mind and they walk straight for the stairs. Harry can hear people talking to Louis and he's happy when Louis tells them he's busy with him. They finally make it outside and Harry grins as Louis immediately zips in the open air like a small bird. The shorter boy turns to look at him and gestures his head to where the trees bunch and his eyes sparkle.
