21. Poison them! Drown them! Bash them on the head!

Harry watches with a scowl as Bria dabs the blood from Michael's face. The boy won't even look in his direction and it's starting to get on Harry's nerves.

"You know she's a villain too," Harry grumbles and Michael's eyes flick over to him briefly.

"Maybe but she's not a liar," Michael states back and Harry throws his hands in the air.

"Sorry I didn't tell you but I don't know what you'd expect me to say," Harry groans and Michael just looks away from him.

"You shouldn't have talked to me at all," he claims and Harry almost falls over.

"I didn't! You're the one that came over and talked to me! You shouldn't have talked to me so shut up and stop being like this!" Harry yells and Bria looks over at him defensively.

"Can you be nice for 5 minutes. He's upset because you lied and it's understandable," she defends him and Harry just rolls his eyes.

"Stay out of this, Princess," he mutters and Henry laughs.

"Let the lovers quarrel," he jumps in and Harry looks over at him.

"You stay out of it too. Everyone just shut up. This is between me and Michael," he claims and Michael just glares at him.

"Am I even your friend? Do you even care about me at all?" He asks.

"Yes! You're my friend and I care about you and I don't want our friendship to end over this. You don't like them either so I don't get why this is such a big deal," Harry replies and Michael just shakes his head.

"You're killing innocent people for something that has nothing to do with them. Murder is never the answer," Michael tells him and Harry just sighs.

"It won't be murder when your parents let my mother out and I give them the antidote."

"No, then it's just you being an accessory to murder," Michael snaps back and Harry just closes his eyes.

"Nothing will happen to you. I won't let anyone hurt you or your family, okay? I just want Ariel and Eric gone. I want Atlantis gone," Harry tells him.

"Why?" Michael asks. "Why Atlantis? What have they done but lock up your mother for trying to kill them?"

"They broke her! For years they broke her and so she gets small revenge and she's painted as a villain! Do you people even think about what happened before the stories of triumphant you learn in school? Do you even stop and think 'hm I wonder why Ursula hates them so much?' No you don't," Harry argues back. He will not have anyone say anything bad about his mother. No one ever asks her story and it upsets him.

"Why does she hate them? Enlighten me," Michael sneers.

"My mother was a baby of an affair. When my grandmothers husband found out about it he went to the first sea witch and asked her to let the baby come out dead for the horrible way it was created. The sea witch claimed she couldn't cause death but she would make the baby come out hideous because of the hideous act it was made by. The man agreed and he never told his wife he knew of the terrible act. When my grandmother finally had her child it came out with tentacles and purple skin. She screamed at the sight and her husband laughed and told her for her ugly deeds she now beared an ugly child. Everyone then knew of her promiscuous affair and she was shunned but my mother was shunned more. The children wouldn't talk to her because she was different. The adults would sneer and make rude comments because of who her parents were. She was an outcast and she was bullied and eventually Triton himself dismissed her from his kingdom. He claimed he couldn't have monsters roaming the streets and so she was left at 11-years-old to fend for herself. The old sea witch took her in and taught her how to do spells and create magic and when she died my mother took over and she got small revenge on every mermaid and merman that came in wanting to be something more when they already had everything my mother could want; acceptance," Harry finishes. The three people around him just stare at him and Michael looks torn on his own emotions.
