Chapter Thirty-Three

Nico's POV...

I watch as Percy walks away. I start crying without sound. Percy just killed my baby, then handcuffed me to the bed. At least he cleaned my wound, so I wouldn't bleed to death. My face is still stinging from where he slapped me.

The air starts shimmering above me. I stop crying and sit up. I jump as I see Will's face above mine.

"Oh my sweet Nico," he cries. "Where are you?"

I feel warmth spread throughout my body and I smile. I want to kiss him so bad. "I'm in a cave under the lake," I whisper incase Percy is coming back. "Percy kidnaped me. He slapped me and Will..."

I start crying again. Will looks like he is driving himself crazy. "What is it Neeks?"

My heart skips a beat hearing him say that. "He stabbed me in the stomach... He killed our child..."

The image starts to fade. "I love you William Solace," I whisper. "I am so sorry."

He opens his mouth to say something, but the image fades and I am now alone with my breaking heart.
