Lucas's P.O.V
I grab my phone and quickly look at my contacts. I tap on Maya's name and I choose to call her. This is my chance to be with my soulmate. Maya and I are perfect for each other compared to Riley and I. Maya even jokingly said once before that she made a ship name for us. Lucaya. I don't know what the hell a ship name is, but it must be a pair of people involved in a romantic relationship or something? She said that Riley and I would be rucas. Eff Rucas I'm a lucaya. On the fifth ring, Maya picks up. I hear her mutter "shit" to herself and then a loud banging noise. The fuck? "Oh, hey." I hear her breathe heavily and I feel like she's smiling. "Uh, FaceTime?" I ask her. I just wanna see her beautiful face. "Um, okay, but make it quick, I'm not really allowed to talk to you at my house at this moment." Obviously. It was inevitable that when Ms. Hart saw us making out she'd ban me from their apartment. I was just so stupid. Damn. We switch to face timing and I see Maya's beautiful blonde hair in a braided crown around her head. I can only see her top which is a t shirt with the band Nirvana written across it. "I uh, didn't know you liked them." I point out. Maya looks down at her shirt and then blushes. She looks back at the camera and gives me a shy smile. "It, actually isn't really, mine, you know," I angrily say "Is it Josh's? You know, Mr. Perfect?" Maya shakes her head as fast as a cheetah runs and says "Hell no! I just stole it from some strangers house the night after I woke up at the party?" That shocks me so fucking much and hurts my heart soo much. "Oh, so you had sex?" Maya looks scared suddenly. Weak. "Fuck it, Texas Lucas is back." I angrily shout as I hang the fucking phone call up. I leave Maya with a sad and shocked face.
