"Where am I?" Caspian groaned and touched his forehead, and felt a bandaged skin.

As he opened his eyes, he panicked as he realized that he has no knowledge on his current whereabouts, and that he heard hushed voices coming from the next room.

As he looked around, he found himself in a furnished, but squishy bedroom with black walls.

Caspian yanked the bandage from his head, sitting up a little bit too fast, causing him to groan.

He stood and then stealthed himself against the wall, trying to get close to catch a glimpse of the next room where his captors were residing.

His captors spoke in hissing whispers, and as if they look like they're arguing about something.

Caspian peered around the doorframe, and caught a glimpse of an ugly-looking dwarf, the one that strucked him the previous night, sitting at a small rounded table, and a badger.

Caspian was astonished to see that the badger was stirring a soup, but he realized that escape is his highest priority. He took a deep breath, before charging out of his room, and began bolt towards the door.

The sound of his running footsteps alerted the dwarf and he drew a small sword, which then Caspian grabbed a daggar thathe saw sitting on the table and blocking his blow, backing up as the dwarf strikes him more.

"Stop that, Nikabrik!" shouted the badger and Caspian glared at him with shock.

"I told you so, that we should have killed him last night!" The dwarf retorted.

"And I told you why we can't do that!" shouted the badger. "Now stop it! Or do I have to sit on your head again?"

Nikabrik cringes at this and glared at Caspian.

"If we're taking a vote, I'm going with him." Caspian said sternly.

"Well, let's settle here for once." The badger said. "I'm Trufflehunter, and this is Nikabrik, and please mind his behaviour."

"What are you two?" Caspian asked in astonishment.

"Oh, great, do you even explore the outside world?" Nikabrik asked as if he wants to slap Caspian. But Caspian then finally understood something.

"Wait a minute, you're Narnians!" Caspian whispered in amazement. "I thought you were all extinct."

"Well, actually, not of us are extinct." Trufflehunter explained.

"I want to ask you a question, and you answer this straight with me." Nikabrik said in a harsh voice. He pointed at the magical horn that Caspian used the previous night. "How the hell a Telmarine soldier, like you, came across with this?"

Caspian shooked his head and said, "I'm not a Telmarine soldier...I'm Prince Caspian."

Trufflehunter and Nikabrik looked at each other and there was a long silence.

"Well, then what the hell are you doing?" Nikabrik asked in a irascible voice.

"I'm running away and I'm saving a close friend of mine." Caspian answered shortly. "Listen, I want to thank you both for what you did, but this is something I must do and she's not the only one who's going to be executed."

He picked up his armor, and equipped his sword and items that he need.

"Wait, you have to save us!" Trufflehunter cried out. "Do you even know what this is?" He carried the magical horn and Caspian took it from him.

"Thanks, you two...but I'm sorry." Caspian said sadly and then equipped the horn and walked out of the cottage.
