"So where we're heading now?" Nikabrik asked as they rode the horses out of the castle.

"We're heading for the Shuddering Woods." Caspian replied. "We're going to meet up everyone in there."

Bastila cocked an eyebrow at Caspian.

"Well, for some reason, I doubt that they're happy to see you." Bastila said.

"Stop here!" Caspian ordered the horse to halt. Caspian got off the horse, but Trufflehunter and Nikabrik remained on the horse, so Caspian started leading the horse in the Shuddering Woods. So the four of them went on slowly.

"Sorry, Bastila, you were telling me something?" Caspian asked.

Bastila rolled her eyes. "I was saying that they aren't gonna be happy to see you." She said disdainfully.

"What makes you so sure?" Caspian asked.

"Well, you're a Telmarine." Bastila said. "So you come from a colony that destroyed Narnia."

Caspian sighed. "Look, I'm not here to fight or do anything stupid." He said with a slight anger in his tone. "I have seen enough horrors that my uncle unleashed onto Narnia..." He trailed off.

"Yeah? And?" Bastila asked.

"I'm gonna set things right." Caspian said firmly.

Bastila scoffed. "Really, how you're gonna do that?"

"I don't know..." Caspian gave a sigh and Bastila rolled her eyes.

The four of them walked through the forest for a long silence. As they heard noises, as if someone was talking, they realized they're close to the others in the woods.

"We're almost there, so good luck with your speech." Bastila said.

The group then arrived inside the jungle and saw that the Narnians, mainly consists of minotaurs, centaurs, dwarves, and other creatures.

As the four of then approached everyone in the woods, almost every of them jeered at Caspian, and shouted at him, calling him rude names, as if Caspian's appearance was not welcomed by the Narnians.

"Murderer! Telmarine! Bastard! Kill him!" shouted everyone in the forest.

"All this horn proves is that they have stolen yet another shit from us!" Nikabrik shouted to his fellow Narnians.

"I didn't steal anything." Caspian gritted his teeth at Nikabrik.

"Liar!" shouted a female centaur and everyone jeered again.

"Didn't steal anything?" a Minotaur echoed angrily. "Shall we list the things the Tellmarines have taken?" He then turned to everyone.

The Narnians all began to shout out. "Our homes! Our freedom! Our lives!"

"You would hold me accountable for all the crimes of my people?" Caspian asked the Narnians.

"Accountable and punishable!" Nikabrik growled and everyone jeered again.

"That's just bullshit." Everyone turned to see that it was Bastila who spoke out skeptically. "Haven't you forgotten that you and your pathetic friends that bowed down to the White Witch before?"

"And I'd gladly do it again if it would rid us of these bastards!" Nikabrik countered disdainfully.

Trufflehunter, who had recovered from his arrow wound, stood up on his little badger paws.

"Then we are lucky it is not in your power to bring her back." Trufflehunter said gloomily. "Or do you want us to ask this boy to go against Aslan?"

The Narnians shouted more and Bastila finally got fed up.

"Shut it, you freaks!" Bastila commanded everyone in a irascible voice.

The Narnians said no more.

"Thanks." Trufflehunter said gratefully.

"Yeah, whatever." Bastila said impatiently.

"Some of you may have forgotten," Trufflehunter began, pointing a finger at Nikabrik. "But we badgers remember well, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was king."

"He's a Telmarine!" Nikabrik shouted."Why the hell would we want him as our king?" A roar of approval came from the Narnians standing behind Nikabrik's position.

"Okay, all of you...shut your goddamn mouth!" Bastila yelled.

"That's enough, everyone!" Caspian bellowed and everyone in the forest said no more.

"I can help you all." Caspian said in a clear voice. "Beyond these woods, I am a prince. The Telmarine throne is rightfully mine. Help me claim it, and I can restore peace between us."

"It is true." a Minotaur said but he trailed off. Everyone looked at him.

"Yeah, Glenstorm?" Bastila asked. "What's your thought?"

"The time is ripe." Glenstorm said. "I watch the skies, for it is mine to watch and yours to remember, Badger. Tarva, the Lord of Victory and Alambil, the Lady of Peace has met, and here a Son of Adam has come forth to offer us back our freedom."

The Narnians murmured, and then someone in the crowd spoke up.

"You really mean it?" the voice asked.

"Two days ago..." Caspian said to everyone. "I did not believe in the existence of talking animals, or dwarves, or centaurs... yet here you are... in numbers we Telmarines could never have imagined." He pulled the horn from his waist pocket and held it in the air for the Narnians to see. "Whether this horn is magic or not, it brought us together. And together, we have a chance to take back what is ours!"

"If you will lead us," Glenstorm said, drawing his sword and holding it at to Caspian. "...then my sons and daughters and I offer you our swords."

"And we offer you our lives... unreservedly," Reepicheep, the mouse, bowed at Caspian.

"Miraz's army will not be far behind, Sire," Trufflehunter said calmly.

Caspian looked around at Bastila, the centaurs and dwarves and animals that surrounded him.

"If we are to be ready for them, we must hurry to find soldier and weapons." Caspian said to them. "I am sure they will be here soon."

"Let's go for it." Bastila said determinedly.
