The Father of Bad Ideas

The next morning, everyone meet up inside the How, as Peter gave out his final announcement.




"Our time is up, and I'm done fucking around here and we're going after Miraz and the Telmarines." Peter announced with frustration. "We know where the bastard lives, we have his goddamn weapons and we took out some of his men, but right now, it's time to get dead serious."




Everyone in the How murmured.




"Is it just me or this whole plan thing got him on edge?" Lucy asked in a whisper to Edmund. Edmund saw that Lucy looked worried.




"I don't know, but I can tell that it also stressed everyone out as well." Edmund said gloomily.




"Apparently, yes." Susan said grimly.




Then, Peter motioned everyone to stay silent.




"I think it's time that we go to his castle and take back what is ours and stop all this shit that he had foisted on Narnia!" Peter said in a commanding voice. "What do you all think?"




Everyone cheered again, except for Susan, Edmud and Lucy, who looked at each other in dismay and uncertain. However, they can see Caspian looked very determined. Bastila, somehow, had no expression, so she joined the cheering as well. Then, Peter motioned everyone to stay silent again.




"As the leader, I have decided I also get to choose which of you are coming with me inside and which of you will get to wait outside the castle and stay there until we open the gates!" Peter said in a loud voice.




There was a silence and Peter saw everyone looking quite anxious. Obviously for the siblings, they were not the only ones who are uncertain about the plan and the outcome.




"Caspian, Susan and Edmund!" Peter addressed his younger siblings and Caspian. "You three are with me. I had someone to get the gryphons and they're ready to fly out!"




"Do we go inside together or one of us has to go in there alone?" Susan asked.




Peter hesitated and everyone murmured. Bastila looked at the siblings with concern.




"Edmund will go to the castle first, but he won't be needed once we arrived there." Peter said. "Edmund, you will go to the castle first and stay on one of the towers and give us the signal when it's safe to land."




"Done." Edmund said in a clear voice and nodded.




"Susan, Caspian!" Peter said again. "As we landed on one of the towers, we go inside and we go for the gates and we let everyone in!"




"Then what about Miraz?" Susan asked nervously.




Peter looked at her with flaming eyes. "We'll deal with the asshole later when we let everyone in." He said.




"Susan might be right." Caspian said. "It's best we take care of him and we let everyone in later."
