An hour later, Peter and Edmund were walking out of the How and they heared a roaring cheer from the Narnian crowd.
As they walked further out, they saw a massive size of the Telmarine army standing a few hundred feet away from them.
There was a enormous flooring on the field where the two siblings could see Miraz sneering at them.
"You can do this, Peter." Edmund tried to build up his brother's confidence. "Everyone is counting on you and you're their last hope."
Peter gave him a small smile and then placed his hand on Edmund's shoulder.
"Thank you, Edmund." Peter said, "For everything."
Peter looked around and saw that Caspian was not with them, or that he wasn't with the crowd.
"Where's Caspian?" He asked.
They saw Bastila walking towards them. Edmund then questioned her about Caspian.
"He's on his way to the forest and he'll check if your sisters made it." Bastila said.
Peter sighed and looked at the flooring in the field. He then turned to the other two.
"Wish me luck, you two." Peter said and gave them a small smile.
Edmund hold his hand out, and then Bastila did the same. Peter knew what this meant and he placed hand out.
"Before you go in there, you promised all of us one thing." Edmund said.
"Anything, my brother." Peter said proudly.
"Kill that motherfucker for Aslan and for all of us." Bastila said determinedly.
"I will." Peter said honorably and then the three raise their hands up and then suddenly, the Narnian crowd cheered.
As Peter walked on the enormous flooring, Miraz looking at him in a sneering way.
"There's still time to surrender and you can do that right now." Miraz looked at him and then cackled with laughter.
Peter didn't join the laughter as he gave his arch-enermy a death stare. This is where he can finally kill Miraz, so this means Peter is about to accomplish something that everyone were trying to do in the past.
"Not on your fucking life, old man." Peter said.
Miraz stopped laughing and looked angry. "Stupid boy!" He said, "How many more of your people are going to die for the throne?"
Peter said nothing and then looked behind his back. He could tense faces that everyone are wearing. As he thought of Miraz's question, he knew the answer.
"One." Peter answered without hesitation. "And that person is me."
Then, there was a gasp from both crowd. Miraz did not looked surprised and appeared to expect his answer.
"And so it is." Miraz said calmly and unsheathed his sword out. Peter did the same and the two stepped on the metal platform.
There was a jeering sound came from the Telmarines as they point at Peter, and shouted tasteless names.
As Peter and Miraz unsheathed their swords, the ultimate duel had begun. Miraz's sword hit on Peter's sword, and then Peter ducked. Miraz raced towards him and tried to strike a hit on him, but Peter dodged to the left and then knock his elbow away.
Miraz fell to the floor, and grunted in pain. He got up and managed to knock Peter's helmet off, and then tried to swing at Peter again, but he ducked. Miraz knocked Peter down and then tried to crush his shield. Peter screamed in pain, he kicked Miraz's leg, and he grunted as he fell to the floor.
Peter suddenly froze after he kicked Miraz to the floor.
"What the hell, Peter?" Edmund cried out in disbelief, but Bastila nudged Edmund's arm.
"Edmund, it's them." Bastila said and Edmund turned around and both of them wore worrying glances as they saw what had happened.
