You got me there Maine. You really know how to catch me off guard. But hey! You don't see me saying otherwise.
It was supposed to be an ordinary JFA segment. I was asked to join the panel with Bossing and Kuya Anjo a few minutes before it started. I was actually outside, getting the gift from my car when our floor director ran towards me and asked me to be at the stage in two minutes. I was supposed to go to you and give you this but like I said to myself while I ran back inside, it could wait.
You really don't do things half way no? I was there, ready to simply sit at the panel, watch JoWaPao do their antics while giving prizes to our lucky winner when I suddenly heard the loud cries of the audiences. I, of course, automatically turned and made a bet inside my head. There's only one person that could make the people stand on their toes and scream their lungs out. And lately, everytime I make a bet, I always win.
There you were. All clean and crisp. I already saw you earlier before JFA but, when you were approaching me, I saw something. A momentary lapse of the present. A quick glance of tomorrow. A short glimpse of my life.
Probably it was Sunday morning. I was in Nuvali, reading the usual weekend newspaper. My eye glasses were probably slipping on my nose and as I pushed it upwards, I saw on my peripheral view a streak of white. I turned my head, expecting someone. I may be expecting you there, walking towards me with the usual morning coffee. You were still wearing the white shirt that I wore yesterday. You probably always do that. Those simple things that made me grasp my sanity. I might see you wiggle your hips that made those loose garment sway. I might see your thighs that were covered by this piece of cloth and you might know that I had already torn them in pieces in my mind. You might laugh when you saw my Adam's apple bobbled because you knew what those actions do to me. You might wiggle your brows too because nothing escaped your keen eyes. And when you placed the cup on top of the table, you might slide your forefinger on my arm. You might smile at me and turn around. And you might sway your hips again seductively. Because you knew that my eyes were glued, following your every move.
"Mainit pa 'yan."
I blinked. I suddenly heard the loud cheers of the people from the studio. I even heard Kuya Anjo saying something. I felt your hand as you placed the coffee cup on the table. I grasped it. I felt disoriented. I blinked again, trying to focus on your face, and stared.
"Uy..."
There was a slight buzz in my head, like I suddenly awaken from a deep sleep. And as I fought off the short dream inside my head, I saw you smile. And God...I felt the heat rising from my neck up to my face. You definitely saw something because your eyes shone an obvious mischief.
"Lagot ka sa'ken mamaya. Kung anu-ano ang mga naiisip mo."
I smiled in return. Oh well, what can I do? The dreams were irresistable. Just like you.

I miss this! I don't have a good photo of this "Dizon" episode so I went for the video. Just to let you know, I replayed the hatid-coffee and puto moments like uhm, 10x? Hahahaha!
