Enjoying

"Maine..." RJ handed her a cup filled with water. He sat beside her on KS Alden's lungga while other people were running around. He even saw Direk Pat scratching her head in obvious distress while talking on her earphone.

"Ang gulo nila." Maine whispered. Her throat were a little scratchy from all that contained emotions during KS.

RJ bursted out laughing. He leaned and supported himself with his arms splayed on his back. He looked at Maine. "Ang galing mo na huh?"

"Pssh! Ako pa ba?" Maine looked beside her and smiled widely. "Joke lang..." she added.

"No. You are really getting good. Ang bilis mo nang umiyak huh?"

"Nakakadala kaya? Buti na lang talaga maaga akong nakarating dito sa Broadway, na-orient ako."

"Saan ka after nito?"

"May photoshoot na naman. For the month of March ata. Ewan ko. Mamaya ko na tatanungin kay Ate Pat."

RJ snorted. He pulled himself up to sit properly. "Nakita mo itsura n'ya kanina?"He asked while dusting his hands off.

Maine nodded. She gave the cup to RJ. He drank too. "Feeling ko nagkakagulo sa Twitter ngayon." She added.

"Feeling ko din. Buti na lang lowbatt pa ako."

Maine laughed out loud. "Ako din!"

They both smiled to each other and an understanding reached them. Maine remembered something and so she patted her chest. "Nandito pa din ang sulat mo."

"Akin na, tanggalin ko." RJ was about to place his hands on top of Maine's chest when she pulled herself away from him.

"Tse! Umayos ka nga!"

"Biro lang! As if naman gagawin ko 'yun!" RJ looked at her incredulously. "Happy ka? Sa poem I mean."

Maine nodded. She pulled the letter herself and spread it again. "Yep." She turned her head. "Ikaw? Happy ka nung ginagawa mo 'to?"

"Sobra."

"Thank you ulit huh?"

"Basta ikaw."

They shared a moment of silence amidst the chaos inside Broadway. The people were running around, so busy with what to do after Eat Bulaga.

And yet, they were there. Sharing words, expressions and feelings that no one could hear. From a third person point of view, it was like watching a music video. A fast paced song about two people finding each other after a very long time of searching. Everything was blurred, except for the two of them.

"Maine? Alden? Magpapa-picture ang anak ni Barbie Almalbis, okay lang?" Someone from Prod Team went near them. They both nodded as they gave way for the kid to sit with them. Barbie smiled to them as she said, "Say cheese!"

Seconds before the camera clicked, Maine placed her left hand behind her and reached for RJ's right one. She squeezed it a little as the other hand reciprocated the gesture.
