RJ smiled to himself when he saw Maine's snapchats. The advance birthday party thrown by her fansclub was a complete success. They meticulously planned everything and he knew that Maine was enjoying the night.

He didn't know how to top that though.

Not that he planned to. He just wanted to give something that could make Maine happy. Something that she won't ever forget. After all, it is the first time to celebrate her birthday as an artist. A very famous artist to be exact.

RJ closed his phone and tapped it on his legs. His initial plan was big. Really big. Tipong bonggang-bongga, ika nga ni Miss A. But then again, who was he really impressing here? A lot of people, their fans actually, were expecting too much from him. And he terribly fears that sometimes.

RJ pulled off his orange shirt and placed it on the hamper. As he removed the belt together with the pants, he pondered, what would Meng really like for her special day?

Dinner?

Movies?

Bar?

Roadtrip?

Beach-tripping?

RJ shook his head in annoyance. Those things can be done during dates and even if they neither have the time nor freedom to do these now, he still believes that these are inappropriate when it comes to celebrating her birthday with him. Dapat kakaiba. Dapat 'yung matutuwa talaga s'ya. 'Yung...mahahalikan n'ya ako sa tuwa. RJ suddenly laughed to himself. Makaligo na nga, kung anu-ano ang mga naiisip ko.

"Hey!!!" Maine greeted. RJ called her past ten in the evening. He could still hear the noise on the background.

"Nand'yan pa kayo?" he asked back. He could see her face as she walked away from the crowd. He saw her saying hi to a few people.

"Shoks? Naririnig mo 'ko?"

"Yes. And nakikita." RJ stretched his right arm and used it as a pillow.

"Patapos na 'yung party. Nagpapaalam lang 'yung iba."

"Condo ka?"

"Oo. Taguig ang baranggay tomorrow eh. Malayo."

"Mag-ingat kayo huh?"

"Oo naman."

"Talk to you later?"

"Gising ka pa nun?"

"Wow! 'Gang ngayon nagugulat ka pa? Ilang beses na kitang nakasabay magpuyat ah?"

"Eh natanong ko---ay hello po!---lang naman if gising ka pa 'gang makauwi ako."

"I need to know that you're safe before I go to sleep."

"I know."

"Pst."

"Nu!?"

"Happy ka?"

RJ saw Maine's soft smile. She stared at her phone, which in turn made RJ feel like she was really staring at him personally. The mist on her eyes said it all.

"Super."

"Good."

"Later?"

"Later."

Guys, longer afterwords. This is in light of the recent issues that came up in Twitter. This is my two cents. Bahala na kung may kukuha, pambili ng chiwibols.

Let's not look for Alden kung nasaan man si Maine. May kanya-kanya silang buhay okay? Hindi sila kambal pandesal na laging magkadikit. Maine is an artist herself and she has her own job as Maine Mendoza. It's HER birthday party. Not AlDub's. Maghurumentado tayo kapag nag-Anniversary ang AlDub at wala si Alden or Yaya Dub on that day.

Next. I have said this before. Huwag funny. Don't ever, EVER, twist anyone's words for your own convenience or for your own beliefs. Either ipapahamak n'yo ang mga sarili n'yo or 'yung ibang tao. She thanked her fans. That's it. Huwag nang dagdagan. S'ya ngang tao mismo walang dinagdag, tayo pa kayang nanonood lang sa SC, YT or vid sa Twitter. Just be happy kasi may isang Maine Mendoza na pinanganak 21 years ago. Okay?

Last. Be happy. For yourself kasi fan ka ng mga napakabuting tao. Hindi sila perpekto pero hindi din sila mamamatay tao. Be happy. For them kasi no matter how many bashers and haters they have, they still continue. They still overlook what others say to them kasi nandito tayo. Mga nagmamahal sa kanila. Either M-fan or A-fan ka. Choose happiness. Before you do anything bad to other people, imagine-in mo muna na ginagawa 'yan sa'yo. Kapag natuwa ka, eh pa-doktor ka na.

I know these rants are stupid but bear with me. Be a matured and thinking fans. Sayang ang effort, ang tagal na natin oh!
