Chapter 12- The Exorcism! *edited*

Everyone sat silently around the table and watched as a nervous Vanelope got ready to do her part that night.

Amelia gently yet firmly tied Vanelope's hands and feet to the chair before taking a seat next to her.

"Okay Vanelope listen to my voice." Andrew, Amelia's grandfather ordered softly.

Vanelope closed her eyes and began to slowly let her head drop forward as Andrews's voice seduced her into a deep sleep.

All the hunters sat patiently waiting for any type of paranormal activity to happen.

Esteban, Gabriel and Mr. and Mrs. Ortiz were told to move to another room with the two other hunters leaving Amelia, Karen, Eric, Leo and Andrew alone with Vanelope's exorcism.

Karen stood besides Vanelope's chair holding onto a donkey as Vanelope slumped fully against the chair.

Almost immediately her fingers began to twitch. The little hairs on Amelia's neck began to stand up on ends as a strong breeze began to sweep through the room. A creepy giggle left Vanelope's closed lips. Her eyes snapped open-they were a full black color and her veins began to stand up from her skin and turn an ugly purple and green.

"Hello!" The shadow within Vanelope's body giggled.

"Who are you?" Amelia asked confidently even when her soul shook in fear.

"You know who I am Amelia." The shadow smirked.

Amelia bit her inside lip. "You're Alexander Corneliouse. The one who found the way to exorcise a shadow. Yet you, yourself became a shadow." Amelia spoke slowly but thoroughly.

The shadows smile dimmed a little.

"What a disappointment. I believed you were someone important. Someone worth remembering." Amelia leaned against her chair, following her gut even though it scared her to the bone.

The coaxing worked and the shadow slipped out from Vanelope and onto the donkey-the easiest thing to posses.

Karen tried to tighten the rope around the animal's neck to hold it in place but the shadow was faster.

The shadow posessed donkey dug its teeth into Amelia's thigh.

Amelia gripped the table in immense pain as the donkey's teeth became imprinted into her thigh. She was immediately transported within her brain. She slammed against a hard cold floor and rolled across it.

Alexander Corneliouse stood over Amelia angrily. "I am the greatest hunter to have ever lived you bitch. I created cures for almost every disease hunters could get. I did everything as a hunter." He growled kicking her stomach repeatedly.

Amelia curled up into a little ball but no matter how she covered up Alexander still found a way to hit her exposed skin.

"Fuck you, you little conceited bitch." He growled harshly. He kicked her one last time on the head then crouched down besides her.

"I'll be back!" He promised.

Amelia's body stopped thrashing around before slumping down on the chair.

Leo and Andrew were on either side of Amelia's body biting they're bottom lips nervously as she slowly came to.

Amelia's eyes lazily opened and she smiled shyly. "He's gone!" She lied.

Everyone jumped up exited, all except Leo.

Amelia avoided his gaze completely and just simply laid against the chair as the hunters and Vanelope celebrated.

A little lie to save one million people is little as long as only one person is hurt! Right?
