Chapter 21

When we reached the school grounds Sam parked the car on our usual parking space. We were preparing our things and was about to go out when something hit the driver side window. A balloon that has paint in it was thrown to the car.

Sam, furious of what happened to her car, went out and shouted who threw the balloon. But no one replied to her. I quickly went out of the car when I saw another balloon coming her way. Surprisingly the balloon burst a couple of feet away.

I checked on Ambi and Dani to see if they saw what happened. But when I checked Ambi was out almost near us with a small bamboo stick with a wide grin on her face.

'Oh. What a bummer.' This familiar voice went through my mind.

I searched for the owner and immediately found her. She have never changed from her raven black hair to her taned colored skin. 'Rogue is here.' I murmured to myself.

"You okay Sky?" Dani asked.

I told her I'm okay and of course I lied. I don't need to tell them that I can talk to people through my mind. And most of all I can't just tell them that I think I know who threw the balloon.

"How are my favorite girls?" Cleo's voice suddenly present on my back.

There is tention in the air. And I'm pretty sure that Sam can no longer take her anger. I would like to stop her just in case she decides to lunge at Cleo. But as much as I want too, my anger is rising in me as well.

"What the hell did you do that for Cleo?!" Amber burst out.

"Oh. That? Well, that's just an initiation for our new girl here. I would just like you girls to meet her."

Cleo then happily introduced Rogue to us and vice versa. Of course I already know who she is. I just can't believe that the most kind, loving and caring person in the world that I ever known is with Cleo.

After the long introduction, Cleo bid goodbye and left together with her gang. I was actually wondering why all of a sudden Sam got so calm. So when I turned to check on her, I got shocked because I didn't remember grabbing her hand.

Sam said that she's thankful that I got hold of her. But I can't tell her that I didn't meant to grab hold of her hand. So I just asked her why. That's when she made me remember how angry Luna Sofia will be if she finds out that we loose control of our anger.

That time Dani and Amber offered to pay for the car to get cleaned but with one condition. Since I'm like the only one stopping these girls to fight with Cleo's group. They asked me to allow them to have revenge. But of course I didn't agreed and informed them that I will be the one to pay for the car's cleaning.

Knowing that I'm serious with everything I say. Dani and Amber didn't argued with my decision anymore. We then took our things from the car and headed inside the building.

We all took our separate ways since our lockers are scattered through the school. When I reached my locker Rogue's familiar scent is scattered through the air. I disregarded her scent, continued with opening my locker and mumbled to myself 'everything had changed'.

'But nothing has.' Rogue suddenly spoke through our mindlink. Hers and mine are the stongest mindlink ever made, according to our dads. Well we have proven them correct three years ago, so it doesn't shock me now if she can talk to me.

'What are you talking about Rogue? It's obvious that you've changed.' I accused her.

The argument in our minds lasted for a few minutes until she had persuade me to talk to her. She wanted to explain she said, so I agreed. I agreed to talk to her on the safest place I know, our home. That she agreed upon because she wants to see my sister as well.
