Chapter 51: Endings and Beginnings

⇨ ⇨SKYLAR'S POV

I got to the house first so I get to decide where to park. But since it's not my car I decided to leave it on the sidewalk. Getting out of the car, I looked at Amber's house. It looks so quiet, maybe they're not yet home. So I went straight in side the house, to my room and in to the bathroom. It's time to wash up.

After I don't know how longat, I got out of the bath. Going in to my closet I picked a short shorts and a hoodie. I could smell Meg's cooking so I headed down stairs. Heading straight to the kitchen, I could hear laugher and it immediately consumed my soul.

"I miss hearing those sounds." I said leaning on the doorframe of the kitchen. Meg smile got wider then said. "Come. At this moment there are no rules, no alphas and betas. Nothing, and if you will disobey I will kick you out. Understand?" My eyebrow raced as if thinking over what she said while the others laughed at our little agreement.

Walking over to a free seat, I smiled and asked for a drink. Rouge who was seated near the fridge ask. "What would you like to have?" Thinking it over I said. "I'll be having what you have." She opened the fridge and took out a bottle of beer, opened it and slid it on the table towards me.

"So how is everyone?" I asked with a smile and sipped some beer. "Well. We're happy. For once." Sam stated looking at the bottle she's holding. "Hey! This should be fun night Sam!" Meg pouts her mouth after her rant. "You may be the oldest of us three but you seems like the youngest.' I teased her that made everyone laugh with a set of loud roars from Max.

'He likes her.' Rouge mindlink me. 'I know right?' I said laughing as I looked at Meg's expression. 'Maybe we should match them up.' Sam, my ever so genius bestie lighted a bulb on my head. Meg just glared at me but stick her tongue out before getting back to what she's cooking.

The laughing soon died out. And it is Max's turn to tell us his story. "So Max." I turned looking at him. "Yeah?" He asked looking curious at what I want from him. "So we already know about your dad. And how he have chosen to live the life of a rogue. Now it is your turn to tell us your story." I smiled at him but with a aura letting him know that I am serious.

He tilted his bottle at me while looking at my own bottle. I immediately knew what he meant so I toased with him before we drank. "Okay. So after my dad decided to leave, they found a place that will help mask their scents from other wolves and of course from the hunters. Well, they lived in Hawaii up until mom got pregnant."

"Wait up! Dude! You grew in Hawaii, that means you surf right?!" Rouge's excitement can never wait. "Yeah I do. How-" He is to ask if we surf too but I already cut him off before he could finish his question. "Yes we do. And we would love to surf with you sometime but we would like to hear your story for now." I glared at Rouge hoping she would get my point. Her excitement went away as fast as it came. Then she mumbled sorry.

Sam glared at me calling me a bitch on our mind link then caressed Rouge's face kissing her softly. "No making out you two." Meg states braking them off which made Max and I laugh our hearts out at their expressions. "So you where saying." Meg's sentence is directed to Max. He smiled then nodded.

"So yeah. My mom got pregnant. Dad was the happiest person alive when they foumd out that they'll be having a boy. When I got born, Luna Mariana wanted them to go back to the pack but dad refused. According to him he said 'My son will only go to a pack once his Alpha needed him and he is fit enough to protect his Alpha.' Which the Luna Mariana agreed to."

"Wonder what he means by that." I mumbled suddenly with my curiosity getting over me. "Well, I think I know. But I will have to tell you after my story." I nodded and asked him to continue. "Okay. So where was I?" The question was more to himself than to us.
