Chapter 25

When I got home all lights are turned off. But since I'm too angry and confused I continued to enter the house. I didn't dared to check if meg's at home or not. So when the lights suddenly turned on; I got shocked.

"Where have you been, Skylar?" Luna Sofiia's voice filled the room.

"Uhh. Luna, you're here. I.. I just went out for a walk." I tried to make excuses.

"Are you sure that you just went out for a walk? Then why are you smelling differently? Have you-?"

"That smell is nothing. I just went out for a walk with a friend, Dani."

"You were with dani?! So that's why she was not at school."

Sam's voice came out from the living room. So I immediately went inside and checked who else was in our home. And inside Sam is seated on the floor doing her assignments while Alpha John is seated on the sofa, watching on the sports channel with the volume muted.

"Wait. Is something going on? Why are you guys here?" I ask them confused.

"They are here to talk to you. Now sit anywhere comfortable so we could start."

I didn't said a word, walked my way towards Sam and got seated on the floor. Meg handed me a glass of water and then settled herself on the loveseat. While Luna Sofia got seated on the arm of the sofa, near her husband.

We all stayed quiet for the next couple of minutes until I finished the glass of water. I then put the glass on top of the table and was about to talk with Sam when Alpha John cleared his throat. So instead of starting a conversation with Sam I gave Alpha John my full attention.

"So.. You guys want to talk about?" I asked.

"Well, your birthday is coming soon." Alpha John started.

"And I can feel you getting stronger everyday. But I, rather we would like to know what your parents told you when they came to you."

I don't know how they've known about that night but I don't think that I can tell them what happened. But then, Meg came to the picture. I haven't told her yet and I felt like this might be the right time to tell her. So I cleared my throat before deciding to tell the story.

"Okay. But first, Meg, I am really sorry for not telling you this. And I hope that you wont change after my story."

"I promise I wont." She said and that gave me confidence.

"That night. Well, it happened in my dream. That night when you saw me almost dead. (I looked at Meg. She understood my point.) I don't know how I got ther but some how I or my mind was sent toa different dimension. Everything was swallowed in darkness. But voices came. Then there stood in front of me is my mom and dad."

I paused and think of the next things that happened.

"I didn't believed it was them until I had proof. And there in my dream, they told me that it is time.for me to move on and let go of them to be the peron that I needed to be. I disagreed and told them that there are other ways. But they argued with me. They told me that I needed to accept the fact that I am not just an alpha but more. And they also yold me to accept my fate before I loose all the people that I love." I finished telling them the story.

"Well, I am not yet sure but they are right with you being alpha. Sky, this pack was your grategrandfather's pack. He was the last alpha after his father. And you will soon be the next alpha." He actually left me confused.

"Wait. I thought Cleo, your niece will be the next alpha?" Meg asked. Showing her confusion.

"Well, she is not worth to be an alpha. None of those kids are. Sky, you were prophesied by our elders and it should happen or our pack will get destroyed. And alot of packs will suffer." Luna Sofia was not able to stop herself anymore.
