Chapter 40

Sam's POV

When I got in to the house I heard a very loud and agry growl coming from the room just beside the stairs. so I immediately ran up and was shocked when I saw what was happening. Cleo is pinning Rouge on the floor while choaking her with her bare hands. Rouge was trying to fight and get out of Cleo's grasp but she couldnt.

They are curerently on a position that even I can't get out off, not if someone help remove Cleo off of Rouge. Looking around the room it was just us here. Instantly I tapped in to my wolf and asked her to loacate my aunt and the Alpha. In less than a second she answered 'they are attending to Sky on her room.'

Hearing this news from my wolf I made up my mind and ran to Cleo grabed her from the back yanking her off of Rouge. She growled and tried to get out of my hold but I made it clear to her that it will not be a easy process.

Keeping Cleo far enough from Rouge I shouted. "Stop it! Rouge, get up and move away." But before Rouge could have gotten away Cleo got out of my hold and growled loudly. Which both Rouge and I returned with as much power.

Then a comanding growl enveloped us inside the room. To my surprise, I was not as scared as I was supposed to be. And when I looked at the door way, Alpha john and my aunt are looking at us with anger filled expressions. "what is the matter with all of you?!" Alpha john growled in fury.

"i-i'm sorry." Was all what Cleo had manage to say while Rouge and I stayed quiet. Alpha John's facial expression changed in to something that I cannot explain until he spoke again. "Rouge, I know that I am not your Alpha. But I am still the adult that's what I have on you, my age. So please get settled and be nice to everyone."

Rouge nodded and so Alpha John's gaze fell on me. I gulped thinking of what he might be thinking and if he will punish me. But then his facial expression soften. "Sam, you have grown a lot this pass days. Continue to stay clear minded." I too nodded to him in agreement.

When he got satisfied with mine and Rouge's answer he turned to Cleo. The look on Cleo's face was priceless. I just hope that Sky wont get mad at me for laughing at her. Cause she really do look like she have seen a ghost. Maybe she's also thinking of what is going in Alpha John's mind.

"Cleo," Alpha started off. And when Cleo flinched he sighed. "Do not show signs of weakness. Remember your mate needs you. And you are here having fist fight with the person who saved her. You do understand what I mean right?" The last question startled her but she managed to say "Yes Alpha."

"Now I want both of you to know that Rouge will stay in this pack house until Sky wakes up. Understand?" What the alpha have said got me shocked but not as shocked as Cleo. But we both didn't argued and just agreed with the decision.

"May I go see my mate now?" Cleo asked after a while.  Alpha John nodded than Cleo immediately ran off leaving us all speechless. Then my aunt cleared her throat and said. "I guess we could just leave them alone for now. Sam, I'm leaving Rouge to your hands. Her room is ready, it's the room across yours."

My jaw dropped when I heard that Rouge's room will be the one that's across mine. That room was vacant since I can remember.  Why didn't they just let Skylar stay on that room before. Groaning to myself I motioned for Rouge to follow me while telling Alpha John and my aunt Luna Sofia that I'll show Rouge to her room.

I stayed quiet until we reached the door to her room. "This is your room. I guess there are clothes there that you may wear until you got your clothes from your home. If you need anything I will just be on the other room." After my speech I walked over to my door, opened it and was about to close it but was not able to.

When I turned around to see why my door wont close I saw Rouge leaning in ths door frame keeping it open. "What the hell are you doing?!" I asked her angrily. Giving me a wide grin she crossed her hand on her chest then said. "I want to check out your room." And she let herself in while pushing me to the side.
