Chapter 22

Meg and I left the pack house at around 10 pm. But what I was wondering about is why I didn't felt Rogue's presence. Alpha John nor Luna Sofia didn't even mentioned a new member of the pack.

I stayed quiet for the rest of the drive home. It's too late so maybe Rogue had left, if ever she dropped by. I was thinking of what will I do the next day when my phone buzzed.

I pulled out the phone from my pocket. When I opend the phone there's one message from Dani. She is asking what happened on the principal's office and what is my sanction.

When I was about to reply to her message. Meg had parked the car. So I decided to reply once we get inside the house. But before I could even got near the door someone called out my name.

"Who is it?" Meg asked. This hooded figure then came out of the woods. Immediately I realized who it was, so I quickly went towards the door and opened it.

"Meg, come in quick. You too." I motioned to my sister and Rogue to come inside.

Once we're all inside I closed the door shut and locked. When I turned, my back now leaning on the door, Meg once again asked who the hooded person it. I then let out a sigh and asked Rogue to remove her hood, which she did.

As soon as Rogue's hood dropped Meg jumped on to her squealing. I on the other hand ignored them and went straight to the living room. Meg and Rogue then followed after a few minutes. Rogue then got seated beside me while Meg excused herself informing us that she'll make coffee for the three of us.

"So." Was all she said.

"So what?" I replied irritably.

"Oh Sky, you haven't changed. You always do that if you're irritated. And oh! I missed you too bessy!"

Rogue happily engulfed me with her bear hug. But I tried to push her irritably. I am still confused of what happened the whole day at school. And I'm still wondering about her being with Cleo but I don't just know why she's not yet with the pack.

"Oh stop it. Don't push me Sky. Give me an hour and I'll explain. You know you can't deny me." She pleaded while snuggling me more.

"Well duh! You're my bestfriend! Who suddenly shows up after disappearing for almost a year! Yeah! I definitely can't deny you." I am being sarcastic now.

"Okay. Your being immature now. Sky, just listen to what she has to say." This time, Meg is the one to shut me up.

I gestured to them that I'll stay quiet and that I'll give Rogue her 1 hour. Then Rogue cleared her throat before starting. She went on starting with when my parents died. The whole story of what happened from her point of view was really breathtaking. Maybe the best reason why I felt so is because I was kept safe from everything that's going on while she was out there with her parents.

After Rogue finished telling the unknown story about my parent's death; I got so emotional to the point that I was beyond anger. The killer instincts of my wolf started to flow all over my body.

"Sky. I know what you're thinking. But it is not yet time for revenge." Meg tries to get in to my mind.

"Yes, Meg is right. Specially if you don't know who the enemy is." This time, Rogue was the one to put sense in my mind.

I agreed with them both but I didn't kept from them my plan to avenge my parents. Rogue and I reconciled, agreed to be bestfriends again and continue to have each other's back. But we also agreed to keep our relationship a secret. No one is to know about our past and no one is to know, yet, that we know each other.

Then after catching up, Rogue finally bid goodbye. We walked her to the door and said our goodnights. Rogue went to the woods, there she changed in to her beautiful black coated wolf and started her run towards their place.
