Rouge's POV
The day will never be as good as it gets. Here I am on the front porch seating at a couch swing hugging my girl. It is still very early in the morning but still. I'm sure it'll be a great day for all of us.
Max went out of the house greeting us goodmorning then got seated on the other couch swing beside us. He offered us coffee but we already had some so we just said thanks. We all stayed quiet looking in to the forest just allowing peace to engulf us.
"Peace and quiet eh girls?" He asked grinning at us. I laughed at his remark while Sam decided to speak. "We only hope for the best Max. Breakfast ready yet?" Since Sam and I got together she had been very vocal and self confident. She is not scared to speak her mind anymore and she have gain respect that she deserves. And that had made me so proud of her.
Max snorted saying he is starving too but Meg is not yet done cooking. So we just stayed quiet once again. It is nice to have mornings such as these. They're very heart warming but then again as Sam said, we can only hope for the best.
It has been years since I felt this peaceful. Since that dreadful day I have never been at peace searching all by myself for those who killed my loved parents. But of course that changed especially when I bump back in to Skylar and Meg's lives. My long lost family and here we are together happier than ever.
Thinking of the past, I'm glad that my own stubbornness brought me here. It's not everyday that one chooses to follow a team of hunters where in you yourself are being hunted by this people. I even almost got myself killed on the process if not because of Cleo. She literally saved my life making me in debt with her for all my life.
Well of course, only the two of us knew about that story. She do not want me to tell anyone about it. Telling me that it will ruin her reputation. Then she even made me promise so I have no other choice but to put the words in to actions. But nonetheless, our lives and relationship have never been better.

Sam's POV
Rouge's hug around my body tightened. I think she had gone through the memories of the past again. God this woman. She will definitely be the death of me. She never fail to make me fall all over again and again with her. And that's what I am thankful for.
It was not expected but everything just fell in to place. Sky and Meg arrived here on our town. Sky suddenly chose me to become her friend. Dani and Amber became our friends. Sky making it her job to protect us from the old Cleo. And all that happened.
Even the arrival of Rouge was clearly unexpected. But what changed my life completely was when Mge told me that I am a part of a pack that I don't even know of. What's more surprising is Sky being my new Alpha and I as one of her Beta's.
Well knowing the Rouge is my mate was just a plus in all this but still, my life had never been better. She would protect me form anything that may harm me, not only her but Sky had also promissed to protect me whatever it takes. But of course I protested because I knew Sky have bigger problems than what she shows us.
A lot had happened and a lot had changed in this town since that day Sky stepped out from Meg's car on the first day of school. Skylar with all her glory stood tall walked on the corridor and immediately took everyone's attention. Well since that day the inevitable happened starting the story of our lives.
