Chapter 30

SAM'S POV

Today is the day before Sky's birthday and this is the day she decides if she will accept to be the next Alpha or not. I do hope she agrees because she will become a great Alpha in the future. But I somehow doubt that she'll accept because she's still too affected by the death of her parents.

"Don't worry too much kiddo. All will fall in to their rightful places."

My aunt, the Luna came beside me trying to calm me down. I guess she really worries too much but not letting it show. Maybe she's also thinking what Sky and the Alpha are talking about now inside the office.

Then that smell came to me in a flash. Rogues and lots of them are to destroy our fun night. Children are now crying while some adults and fighters went on and faced this party crashers.

My aunt the Luna was not one of those who faught. Instead she made sure that the young ones and the elders are okay. And I admire this part of her because not all will have the idea to make sure everyone else will be ok in times like this. Then I saw a pup almost attacked by one of these ruthless rogues. So I immediately ran towards the pup, got her safe in my arms and took her to safety where my aunt are tending to everyone.

I got too busy helping my aunt with taking good care of the elders and young once that I had forgotten to call Sky or the alpha. So when both emerged from inside the house my heart skipped a beat. I prayed to the goddess to keep them both safe. But to my surprise Sky didn't join with the battle. Instead she looked at everything and as if getting assurance with herself shouts 'stop' but did not received acknowledgement. Then with anger and all her might shouted again 'stop' and this time got the attention she wants. To my surprise she also got the attention of the rogues and had ordered them to retreat.

All where shocked but happy with the result. Then without further a do the Alpha took everyone's attention and started his speech. He announced the revocation of Cleo from being the next Alpha and the naming of the new soon to be Alpha which is Sky.

But it is shown in everyone's faces the shock that it brought. Then to my surprise, one of the men questioned the decision but Cleo stepped out grab hold of Sky's hand and announced that they are mates and that everyone should respect her the way she deserve. And that put a stop to everyone and the start of the party's continuation.

Time had passed and everyone is having fun again. But I stayed on my private bubble and stayed on my secret treehouse on the pack house's back yard. I was silently watching everyone when suddenly someone strangled me and kept a firm grip laying me on the floor.

"Who are you?!"

I growled at the person showing my vicious side. Then this soft chuckles came out of its mouth and the most beautiful scent of honey with cinnamon swarm my nosetrils.

"You are so cute when you're so pissed off."

"Y-you?! Get off me!"

"Hey! Chill, I'm not here yo fight. I'm here to-"

Rogue. This stupid new girl who likes so much to kiss on Cleo's ass is in my treehouse. And she's disturbing my silence. What the hell she's doing here. But befire she could even answer a scream came from the packhouse.

When we stood up to check on what happened. Meg was running out with her clothes tattered and torn apart. I was wondering what happened when Nate came out running after her with darkness surrounding him.

"Sam, go. Please help her."

Rogue suddenly caught my attention. Of all people, why will she care for Meg. I know she does because her voice was braking with worry and anger. With pleading eyes she begged but then we heard Skylar growl so loud and everything went on in a flash.
