Chapter 8: Going To The Party

-Monae POV-

I just finished applying my makeup and someone else is knocking on my door.

"Come in" I said walking over to my bed where Jade is.

Chloe walked in look cute as she could possibly be.

"Look at you" Jade said getting off the bed to hug her.

"You two look like all that" she said smiling.

"No you look like all that" we both said laughing.

Before Chloe could sit down on the bed we heard a honk from outside. She walked towards my window and pulled the curtains back.

"Savannah downstairs" she said fixing the curtains back.

"Lets bounce" I said getting off of my bed. Jade stood up and walked to my mirror.

"I'll meet y'all downstairs" she said fixing her hiar.

"No, you'll come now" I said grabbing her right arm and pulling her out of my room.

"Dang M, chill out" she said snatching her arm away from me as we walked down the stairs.

"You know how you get once you see your reflection." I told her.

"You right!" She said causing both of us to giggle.

Chloe left the door wide open so we just walked out and I slammed the door behind me. We walked down the stairs together and Savannah got out of her car.

"What happened to your dress" I asked.

"Changed my mind but at least I'm showing skin" she said shrugging.

We all got in the car putting on our seatbelts and Savannah started the car again.

"Y'all ready for this party" Jade asked.

"Hell yeah and I like your outfit by the way" Savannah said putting the car in drive.

"Thanks" Jade said smiling warmly.

"That outfit works for you" Chloe said to me and everyone agreed.

"Thanks y'all" I said smiling.

Savannah pulled off down the block speeding - this girl really can't drive.
