A Months Notice

Chapter Twenty-Six

Katherine was brushing her hair . She was a lot happier than she was last night .

Yes Jack was only at half of lunch , but she still got to see him .

And dinner was her and Medda watching Miss Congeniality in Medda's room eating pizza .

She hadn't told anyone she wanted a baby or she loved Jack . She kept it to herself until she thought it'd be a good time ....

She didn't know what to do .... Then it hit her . Jack came in the room and he was somewhat stressed.

"You look stressed " Katherine said when he sat down on the couch in their room .

"Stupid wars with Japan " Jack said taking his crown off .

"Really ?"

"Yeah ! Half of parliament is all for us joining the battle and the other half isn't ! Then the media is send questions.... And all of it . I'm still trying to figure things out then there was that damn fire in North Dakota and now we need laws about building safety !" Jack sighed running his hands through his hair .

Katherine walked over to the wet bar and poured him a glass of whiskey . "Here " she said handing him the glass .

He thanked her and took a drink ."people expect me to make this huge decisions ! I have to think of the good of the people , the economy, the damn soldiers ! I can't be everywhere at once people ! There's so much to be done ... I just need to clear my head .... I should probably go lift some weights or something " Jack said sitting up .

"No ! Don't ! Studies say it should be more ..... intimate when relieving stress...." Katherine said quickly putting a hand on his chest to push him to stay sitting down.

"What do you mean ? I've never read anything like that -"

"Well .... Like this " Katherine said and pressed her lips on his . Jack pulled her on him and kissed her harder .

She sat on top of his abdomen and straddled him between her legs . Jack ran his hands up and down her back and hair .

Katherine sloppily undid his tie and threw it to the ground . He ran undid her bra . "Let's .... Go .... To .... The ..... Bed " Jack said in between kisses . Katherine nodded and Jack picked her up and held her with her legs wrapped around his waist .

She took off his dress shirt and pushed it away . Jack was on top of Katherine and he pulled under wear off and then took off her nightgown ...

He took a second to look at her . He had never seen her bare before. She was beautiful to him . Every tiny inch was perfect.

"Wow .... Your beautiful " he said quietly .... Katherine blushed heavily and they continued.

Katherine woke up with the bed sheets wrapped around her and Jack no where to be found . She grabbed her robe which was on the floor and noticed that there was no more clothes around .

Katherine put her robe on and found a note on her vanity .

Katherine,
Parliament called and we have an emergency meeting... I'll see you around lunch hopefully.... I can't thank you enough for last night .... Honestly.... Thank you ... So much .... I feel so much better than before. Have a good day

Katherine danced around and held the note to her chest . He was staring to like her ..... She thought ...

And last night she may have finally made her baby ! She wasn't in pain like the other times and she didn't cry , well she cried out for him multiple times and he complied .

Boy did he comply .... God he complied so much he thought he wouldn't be able to comply the same for a month .

Katherine got dressed and decided against wearing a corset , just incase they did make a baby and she wanted the baby to grow .

She got dressed in somewhat of an eye catching dress . More like what she knew Jack would like but everyone else would think she looked normal .

It was deep blue dress that she knew he would love .... Maybe enough to love her and help make a baby .

Katherine thought about taking a pregnancy test but she thought it would be too early .

It haven't even been a day , there is no way she would be able to tell . But that didn't stop her from going on her laptop and trying to find things about babies .

She typed in "how to know if your pregnant without taking a test " just to see .

Katherine wrote all of these down on a check list and hide it in her drawer of her vanity folded up in a small jewelry box .

Katherine finished and walked out to see Jack walking down the hall to his office with a smile on his face .

"Katherine!" Jack said and ran to her .

"Hello , good morning ... How did the meeting go ?" She asked when he hugged her .

"Great ! We're not going into war and tomorrow we'll start the building safety laws " Jack said

"Wonderful .... That's great " Katherine smiled at him .

"Thanks , I have a meeting with Davey about some upcoming appearances so I'll see you at lunch ? "

"Sure " Katherine said to him .

"Okay , gotta blast ... Bye dear " Jack said and kissed her cheek then he ran down the hall .

She put her hand to her cheek "bye dear "
