Chapter Forty-Four/INFO

( so my goal is to get this story near the 100s! So I'm going to do some time skips but nothing too crazy .... I hope you guys don't mind it's just this is the farthest I've ever gotten writing a story that isn't one shots so I hope this works out well ! Enjoy !!!)

  Five Months Later

Katherine sat down in the Doctors office... She was waiting for the results of her weekly pregnancy test.

"So ... How are you ? " the doctor asked .

"Well.... Jack and I really hoping this is our week !" Katherine said

"When was the last time you tried ?"

"The night before last " Katherine said .

"How is Jack holding up ?"

"What do you mean ?"

"I mean .... Physically... He's Twenty Five ... He'll be Twenty Six next month.... He can't hold up like he used to ."

"Well if that's what your asking he's doing just fine ..."

"That's good .... Okay ... Times up "

Katherine closed her eyes and crossed her fingers .

"I'm sorry Katherine "

"Negative? Again ? This has been 20 weeks in a row ! It's .... Ugh ! I've read all books .... We've been doing everything you've suggested... Should we just stop trying ?" Katherine asked .

"Well ... Maybe not engaging in intercourse as much might help .... I say limit yourselves to once a week ... Twice at the most ... Might bring up sperm count " the doctor said .

"We'll  try that ... Thank you again "

"No problem dear ... I'll see you next week "

"Bye" Katherine said and walked off to her room .

Jack was in their room watching the baseball game on the news .

"So ??" Jack asked excitedly as Katherine walked in .

"No " Katherine said and walked to the doors of the actually bedroom and flopped on the bed .

"Really ?but we've done it almost every night for almost three weeks !!"

"I know .... The doctor says my age pulls part of it ... Also .... That we should only being having sex once or twice a week ! " Katherine sighed and closed her eyes .

"Maybe it's a sign that we shouldn't be trying "

"Jack ! Don't you want a baby ?!"

"I do -"

"Then why are you stopping ?! We've been at this for so long ! All I want is a baby ?

"I do too ! Dammit -"

"It's like you don't even love me anymore !!" Katherine said and huffed away

"Hey ! Don't you say I don't love you ! If you think I don't love you explain why I keep having sex with you so you can have a baby ?!"

"Because your a pig !" Katherine yelled at Jack .

"A Pig ? Come on Katherine! Listen I want a baby too but we should stop ! Just take a break ! You know ! Take a break !"

"What like the song from the Hamilton soundtrack ? No I want a baby!"

"I do too ! But we need to take a break ! Stop -"

"Take a break ! Fine ! We're on a break !" Katherine yelled at him and slammed the door . Jack walked back in .

"A break ? A break ? I didn't mean a break like that Katherine " Jack said .

"That what did you mean ?"

"Maybe we should only having sex when we really have that feeling .... Okay ? "

"Okay " Katherine said and she then took a deep breath .

"Hey , why are you crying ?" Jack asked her sitting down next to her on the bed .

"I just want a baby so bad ... That's all I want ... I love you and I want to have a baby that's part you and part me ... But I can't carry one ... People ask ... At press conferences ... At parties at dinners at parliament meetings !"

"I know .... Katherine I want a baby too ... But I promise you'll get a baby .... May not be tomorrow or next week but you will .... I promise "

"For sure ?"

"For sure " Jack said and pulled Katherine into a hug .

Jack was sitting in his office as he closed the document on his laptop .... Why can't she get pregnant?

Jack felt so horrible ... He loves Katherine and all he wanted was to give her a baby and it seemed like notated how hard they tried they just seemed to have no luck .

"Hello ? Jack ? You in here ?"
"Davey ! Come in "

Davey sat down across from Jack .
"So ? Is she pregnant?"

"Negative " Jack signed

"I'm sorry Jack .... I know you've guys have been trying real hard "

"We have been ... We're gonna stop trying as much .... I mean that's what my parents did and look who's sitting her today "

"I know ... What if you guys don't do it for a month ? Get your bodies clean and all ... And then go somewhere and you know ... I don't wanna sound like a perv but maybe her uterus's lining will be stronger from the lack of penetration and your sperm count may be higher from lack of pleasure .... As long as you don't pleasure your self !"

"I haven't  pleasured myself since I was Katherine's age "

"Speaking of age ... Are you gonna have a big party for your twenty-sixth birthday?"

"I wouldn't care ...Honestly if Katherine wants to one she can plan it ... I'd be happy if Katherine and I say in pajamas ate pizza and watched some eighties movies ....or some baseball movies ... Or we go see a baseball game "

"Well whatever you do in sure it will be great .... I better go ...bye Jack "
