Katherine never fell for Jack . She never got pregnant and never lost a baby . Jack and Katherine never made up after that night where the men said the mean things about her (chapter 20)
Also Katherine's real mother was discovered .

Katherine woke up with Jack on his side of the bed they shared . Yawning , she got out of bed . She walked around the bed to go open the doors to the balcony . Jack grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down .

She was shocked to say the least , he never would do that . He hadn't kissed her on the lips in almost three years . And the last time he did was only because they're was cameras . He hadn't held her hand willingly for five . And the last time they did it was their wedding week .

What on earth has gotten into him ? Jack sat up and ran his hand down her back . "Good morning " he whispered .

"Good morning.... Happy Birthday " Katherine smiled . Jack smiled back and kissed her full out on the lips .
She didn't remember what being kissed felt like .

Katherine kissed him back and slowly Jack pulled Katherine down to lay on the bed . He wrapped on arm around her waist . Jack got on top of her and kissed her harder .

He got off and stretched . She was so unsure of what happened . He just kissed her and left ?

She went to get dressed and came back to see Jack with just his jeans on . She hadn't seen him shirtless and boy oh boy did she enjoy it !

Katherine smoothed out her dress . It was short , only going to her knees and was a soft purple colored .

Jack pulled her one more and kissed her again . Katherine put her hands around his neck . Jacks hands moved down to her bottom and squeezed it .

She opened her eyes and felt him smirk in their kiss . Jack walked off to find a shirt . She was very confused.

She then felt a tap on her bottom ."that's just a preview for tonight " Jack said and left their room , already dressed and ready to go hang out with Davey .

Katherine sighed and sat down to brush her hair . What on earth was going on ? First he pulled her to lay down with her . Then he kissed her ! Then he got on top of her ! Then he was shirtless ! Then he kissed her some more ! Then he pinched her butt ! Then he slapped it and walked off !

"What's gotten into him ? And what does he mean by preview for tonight ?" She asked herself looking in the mirror .

She was not sure and decided to play it safe by staying far from him the whole day . In case he was ready to start whatever he was going to do .

Jack and Davey had been goofying around all day . Watching some sports . Going out to a bar... Playing some golf .

They were sitting down eating dinner and watching a baseball game on the big screen .

"So ... What have you gotten for your birthday so far ?" Davey asked taking a sip of his beer.

"Nothing .... Hanging out with my best bud was pretty fun though " Jack said .

"You getting anything from Katherine tonight ?"

"Of course... It's been five years -"

"Five years ?! I thought -"

"No ... Not for five years " Jack said

"Oh .... Well enjoy yourself ....
Old man !"

"I'm 30 ! Shut up !"

Katherine sat at her vanity , she brushed hair in fear just like she did all those years ago when she and Jack first got married .

The door opened and she jumped . "Katherine?"

Katherine came to see Jack sitting on the couch . "Hi " Katherine smiled shyly .

"Hi " he said patting the seat next to him . Katherine sat down and took a deep breath.

"How was your day with Davey ?"

"Good ... Did some guy stuff ... It was nice to have a day off "

"I bet " Katherine smiled

"Yeah ... What about you ? What did you do today ?"

"Oh , just some sewing and writing .... Nothing much .... I got you a present "Katherine said and left to get it .
She came back and placed a bag on the table ."Open it "

Jack raised an eyebrow and opened the box . Inside were some art supplies and such . He dug deeper and found a leather bound sketch pad .

"Wow " Jack said .

"It's a Franklin Kentucky... I remember you talking about how you always wanted one when we first got married ... So I called a few places and found one that had the last one he made .... Ordered and well ... Happy Birthday " Katherine said .

"Thank you ... You didn't have to get me anything though ..."

"Yes I did ... And I'm glad you like it " Katherine smiled at him .

Jack smiled back and grabbed her by the waist to kiss her . Katherine kissed him back . He pulled away and looked at her .

"What's wrong ?" Katherine asked moving her robe to cover more of her .

"We haven't done this is five years ... You ready ?" Jack asked . Katherine quickly knew what he was talking about and remembered how he never made her do it throughout the years and it was his birthday after all .

"Yes " she said taking a deep breath . Jack picked her bridal style and carried her to their room .
