A Months Notice

Chapter Fifty-One

Jack ran to Davey and slapped him

"What the hell Jack !" Davey screamed holding his cheek .

"Katherine left ! And she gave me her wedding ring !" Jack said .

"What ? Why ?! You told her -"

"I did and she over reacted ! Dave ... She has my kids with her ! What am I suppose to do ?" Jack asked sitting down .

"Give her some time ... Let her cool off then go to her" Davey said .

"Okay .... Dave ? Can you get me a drink ? And a cigar ?" Jack asked . Davey nodded and came back with both .

Jack walked to his room and smoked his cigar with the thought of Katherine in his head .

"Jackson ! Get down here !" Jack heard . It was rather late and night . It was pouring rain. Jack woke up and walked down the stairs to see Joseph holding a girl by the arm .

"Let me go !" The girl shrieked. Jack quickly realized it was Katherine.

"Joseph? What's going on ? Katherine? What ?" Jack asked not sure what was going on .

"Well , Mrs. Kelly here , -"

"Pulitzer !" Katherine yelled back trying to get her hand away from him .

"Enough ! You are a married women ! Now act like it damn it ! Jackson ... Can us three talk somewhere ? " Joseph asked .

They all walked to Jack office where Clara got Katherine a towel .

"I understand that there is mixed emotions on the twins .... So you'll listen here and listen good Katherine, he is your husband ! You don't see him running off to his daddy when things get hard ! Katherine if you must sleep in different rooms but you are married ... Act like it !" Pulitzer yelled and walked off cursing in Hungarian.

"Katherine-" Jack began .

Katherine sighed "I don't love you anymore ... And I won't ever love you again ... I will be your wife , loving and all when we're in front of a camera ... I want a separate room ... I will act like the wife the Victoria would think is a wife . I will listen and I will obey but I will not love you ... I will not kiss you .... I will not sleep with you ... I will treat you like a husband in the 1700's... I am going sleep in my old room " Katherine said and walked off .

Jack hated his life .

Jack woke up feeling horrible , sleeping with no one next to him. He signed and got dressed .

He walks down to the dining hall and saw Katherine eating her oatmeal with fruit. A glass of orange juice near her .

Jack sat down and smiled at her "good morning Katherine "

"Good morning your majesty " Katherine said and ate her oatmeal quietly.

"Katherine... Don't call me that " Jack said Katherine nodded and replied with
"Yes King Jackson"

Katherine ate her meal so quietly you couldn't even hear the sound of the spoon hitting the plate .

"How are you ?" Jack asked tryings by to break the ice .

"Fine" Katherine replied swallowing her anger .

"How are the twins ?" Jack asked her moving closer to her .

"Fine" Katherine replied scooting away . Katherine finished her meal and began to walk off . She held onto to a table as the babies kicked .

"Katherine? Can I feel them ?" Jack asked .

"No" she replied and began to walk away .

"I want to feel them moving " Jack said putting his cup of coffee down .

"No King Jackson" she said a little louder .

King Jackson ? Really ?! I'll show her a king Jackson .

"Dammit Katherine! Let me feel my children move ! Get over here now !" Jack yelled at her , she turned around and he put his hand on her stomach .

He felt the kicks and punches the babies gave him . "I'm done ... Go ..." Jack replied coldly ...

Katherine walked back to her old bedroom and stayed there the rest of the day .

Dammit Jack ! You're an idiot! You just commanded her ! God dammit ! Your so stupid ! Really ? Where are you now ? Not even at 0! You're at -578 ! You better knock it off !
