Chapter Forty-Three

Jack and Katherine finished the movie and Jack carried her to bed .
He tucked her in . Kissed her goodnight and then revived a phone call .

"Hello ?" Jack asked

"Jack ? It's me mom "

"Hi mom ... What's up ?"

"How is everything?"

"Good "

"How is she dealing with the lost of the baby ?"

"Okay ... She really wants a baby "

"I know dear .... But she needs to let her body heal ... "

"She wants to have a baby so badly... I told her as soon as we get back and she sees the doctor she wants to start trying "

"Jack ... Listen .... She's 15-"

"I know that mom "

"But .... She isn't even quite capable of nesting a baby in her womb"

"What ? Mom I don't speak OBGYN"

"She's 15 .... She's still growing .... I think letting her grow a bit might be good for her "

"I understand that mom .... But she's wants a baby and it kills me knowing that she's wants one and she can't have one "

Katherine woke up and saw a note on her nightstand.

Kath,

I've gotta go to my press conference.... I doubt you you want to but it's on channel 6 if you wanna watch .... I'll be back around lunch .... If you want we could sight seeing ... Although there isn't many sights to see .... I'll see you babe

Katherine took a shower and put on a pair of yoga pants and flipped on channel six .

"Ladies and Gentlemen I'm very glad you could all make it here this morning .... I will be answering questions from you all .... Sadly Queen Katherine couldn't join me she isn't feeling well I hope she gets better soon .... Any way shall we begin ?" Jack said .

Katherine smiled when Jack began to speak ... He was wearing his glasses and wearing the suit she loved .

"Hello sir .... Our question is when will the university in Oregon open ?"

"Hopefully in the next few weeks .... We're currently highering staff... "

"That's great thank you "

"Okay ... You there " Jack said pointing to another person .

"Hello ... I have a question ... What will happen to the university in South Dakota ?"

"We're going to have classes going for two more years then shut down so we can revamp it .... You there "

"Is Victoria having criminal charges placed against here ?"

"Yes .... We will be releasing all the details in a press release in a few weeks "

Katherine turned the volume up to see what Jack would say .

"Will you and Queen Katherine try to have another child ?"

"We will be waiting until Katherine is recovered from the miscarriage..." Jack said and pointed to another person .

"Do you and the queen want a child ?"

"Yes we do ... Katherine and I would love another baby but at this time we're gonna wait a while " Jack said and pointed to another person .

"Hello ... We wanna know .... Pardon my French .... If Queen Katherine consented to you two laying together"

"First of all she did .... She was the one who really wanted a baby and second of all that question was very uncalled for ! It was rude and extremely inappropriate "

The conference went on and Katherine only cared to listen when it was something about a baby or about Jack and her...

The press conference ended and Katherine was expecting Jack any time .

Jack walked in and Katherine ran to him , tackling him in a hug . She wrapped her legs around his torso .

Katherine kissed him and put her hand on his cheek . Jack held her from the bottom . Katherine finally pulled away.

"Well hello " Jack laughed . Katherine smiled and buried her face in his neck .

"What are you doing Mrs. Kelly ?" Jack asked holding onto her some more .

"I missed you " she said and kissed his lips again .

"Katherine? What do you want to do ?" Jack asked

"Well ...."

They were laying in bed . Blankets all around and Katherine holding onto Jack .

"Well then .... That was the best thing I've ever done after a press conference "

"I'm glad ... It kinda sucks that we had to use a rubber "

"And your sure you didn't poke it with a pencil this time "

"Yes Jack ! What I did that once !"

"Twice !!"

"Okay twice .... Geez ... Anything you want to do ?"
