Zane was smiling a bit before, but now that smile turned into a horrified expression. I sigh as I walk off, hoping to just sleep the rest of the day, and forget this happened. Did Zane really just call me fat? AND WHY DO I CARE LESS AND LESS AS I SAY IT IN MY HEAD?!?!?! Maybe I do really like Zane...but after that...wait. He stuttered when he said that. Was he actually trying to say something else, but it came out wrong? NO! I'M LETTING MY EMOTIONS GET THE BEST OF ME...or am I?
As I walk off, I feel a sudden warmth on my hand. I look over my shoulder to see Zane has grabbed my hand...
"Heh..." Zane weakly laughs.
"...?" I look at him confused, hoping for a sudden occurrence to stop the awkwardness.
As soon as he loses his grasp on my hand, he stares into my eyes...I hear him mutter something to himself, but before I can tell what he said...I feel a new sudden warmth on my lips...
