Chapter 10

We got home and Netty was immediately hugging mum, Squid giving Dad a quick bro hug (YES I'M BRINGING THEM BACK AGAIN)

"Where'd you go?" Gemma questioned, tugging on my shirt and looking at me. She was nine but she was pretty short compared to other kids her ages.

"We just went out for a little bit" I told her, glancing to my parents who were talking to Squid and Netty.

"Where?" she interrogated, reminding me of my younger self.

"Just out somewhere... How about we go play some Minecraft?"

"Can we make a video?!" she gasped, jumping up and down and grinning like a maniac. She really was a younger me.

"C'mon then, let's goooo" And with that, we ran up the stairs and were soon joined by Rachel also wanting to play.

"Hmm.. That's up to Gemma" I smirked as my twin pouted, glancing between me and Gem.

"Hmm.. Nahh" Gemma laughed and Rachel faked a frown, running into the room and grabbing one of my pillows.

"I shall fight you for this" she declared, whacking me with the pillow in her hands.

"Run Gemma" I yelled, grabbing her hand and pulling her along with me, rushing down the stairs.

"What's going on?" Squid laughed.

"THIS IS WARRRR" Rachel shouted from the top of the stairs, jogging down quickly.

"Help!" Gemma squealed, hiding behind me.

"Maybe we should sort ourselves out into teams? Make it fair" suggested Netty, smirking at the thought of it.

"Yess oh my daysss" Squid clapped, making us all turn to look at him "What?"

"never say 'Oh my days' again" Rae said making us all laugh before we split into teams.

It was me, Gemma and Squid against Rachel, Netty, mum and dad... The teams being un-equal due to there being an odd number of us.
We also added nerf guns to the war, sorting them out so that we were equal.

"Twenty minute grace?" Netty questioned making us all nod before the other team ran off, presumably going to Rae's room to set up their base.

"Where should we set up?" Gemma quizzed, grabbing a nerf gun and smiling inncoently.

"Kitchen?"

And that's where we did set up. We used blankets and chairs to make a little den, the counter being protection as well as the empty cupboard that was never used.

"Twenty minutes is over" Dad shouted, charging into the kitchen, shocking the three of us.

"Move out, move out!" Squid chanted as I backed away, managing to escape the room and run almost straight into Rachel.

She ran straight into the other room, dodging me as I ran through into the conservatory. I hid behind the settee in there, seeing a gun sat in front of me.

I grabbed it and loaded it with guns, slipped the other one into my belt before sliding out of the conservatory and into the kitchen where I found Squid stilling hiding and my dad had gone.

"Scared him out" laughed squid as I handed him the gun I'd been initially using, knowing it was better than his.

The fight went on for hours, people getting 'killed' and it ended up being a one-on-one fight, me against Rachel.
She won, but I let her win of course.
