Chapter 2

Authors Note!- so you guys have noticed that Stampy and Sqaishey in the last book had a baby, Jack, well yes, I did forget him. But I've worked out how to work around it xx So keep Jack in mind☺️

We arrived at Gemma's primary school and handed Stampy Cookie's lead and letting him stand at the gate with her as I walked through the gates and along the path into the school playground. Once I reached the group of parents outside of Gemma's classroom door, I stopped and waited patiently.

A few moments later, the door opened and kids were flowing out of it freely. I continued watching until I saw Gemma and smiled as she looked around then spotted me, running over and handing me her school bag to carry.

When we reached the path at the other side of the schools playground, Gemma spotted her father and our dog and immediately ran towards them, giving Stampy a big hug before fussing Cookie.

From the primary school, we continued walking until we ended up at the local secondary school to pick up Rachel and Ben.
And soon enough, teenagers came flowing out of the school doors and through the school gates while Stampy, Cookie and I waited for Ben and Rachel who we saw pretty soon after people started leaving the large building.

"Hey" I smiled as Rachel let out a sigh, handing her bag to Stampy as Ben did the same.

"Bad day?" I questioned, giving her a quick hug.

"I failed that test we had last week" she frowned, a frustrated look spreading across her face.

"The English one?" Stampy quizzed

"Yeah"

"Don't worry, you got it with you?"

"Yes, why?"

"Well let's go through it together when we get home and you can explain what you don't understand and I'll try to help"

"Thanks Mum, you're the best" she grins.

But will she be saying that later?
