Chapter 16

A/N, yes Sqaish still has long hair in this and no I shall not be cutting it as of yet. It paints out the scenes much better in my head and it means I can add smaller details in.

The next day was weird, full of both ups and downs.

I woke up to the sun shining brightly through the curtains, Stampy's arm around my waist and the two of us wrapped up perfectly in a large duvet.

Hahahh, joke. I actually woke up to Stampy and Netty shouting and a small child messing with my hair... Just another day in the Sqampy household.

"Good morning Mummyyyyy" Gemma sang before sneezing into her pyjama sleeve.

"Good morning baby" I smiled, giving her a quick hug.

"Daddy and Net-Net are arguing" she pouted, attempting to plait my hair.

"Do you know why?" I questioned, making her shake her head and do a small and cute face palm.

I sighed and sat up, tying my hair up in a messy bun before lifting Gemma up into my arms.

"Can you plait my hair for me please?" She begged as I wandered out of my room and glanced over the railing and down into the living room to see Netty and Stampy with squid also stood up and trying to stop them from shouting so much.

I rolled my eyes, continuing to walk through into Rachel's room, sitting down on her bed beside her.

"Morning" she yawned as Ben waved from the corner of the room. He often appeared in the room as the two usually would speak about random things or rant.

"Good morning" I hummed, placing Gem in front of me and beginning a French plait in her hair "do you guys know why Netty and your dad are arguing?"

"Something about working and stuff, I don't know" Ben shrugged, sighing.

I furrowed my eyebrows at it, confused as they usually get along very well.

Once I'd tied off the end of the plait, I left the room and let them all get changed whilst getting changed into blue jeans and a tank top myself.

As soon as I was dressed, I re-did my messy bun and put some moisturiser on, deciding to put no makeup on yet before wandering down the stairs to see Netty crying and her and Stampy still yelling.

"Okay, what's going on?" I quizzed, rolling my eyes.

"I said I might go and get another job and he said I wouldn't be able to get one" she sobbed, making Stampy growl.

"I was joking" he grumbled

"but you then went on to insult me and say that even my videos lack quality"

"That's harsh" I commented as he sighed.

"I didn't mean it like that"

"And I didn't mean that I love you" she muttered, crossing her arms.

"Netty! That's low" I uttered, telling her off before turning to Stampy "and you shouldn't have said that!"

"I'm sorry" Netty cried "I'm just upset"

"I'm sorry too"
And with that, the siblings hugged and I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank god you sorted that out" Squid praised, making me chuckle as the kids walked down the stairs.

"Is everything okay now?" Rachel asked just as there was a knock at the door.

"Yes" I replied while squid opened the door to see two policemen.

"Hi there, is mr Stampy Long-Nose and Mrs Sqaishey Quack-Nose there?"

Oh god.

What was about to happen?....
