Chapter 24. I’m finally home

Uncertainty is the biggest torture in love. You feel jealous yet you can’t complain, you can get hurt yet you can’t show it, you can love with your all yet you can’t say it. All you can do is watch, keep the pain, enjoy the smiles and show how much that person means to you.

[Kristoff’s POV]

I can’t believe it! Andito na ulit ako sa Pilipinas! After two looooong weeks. I’m finally here! Di ko ‘to ipagpapalit sa kahit na anong lugar, dahil andito siya. Sabi nga nila, ‘home is where the heart is.’ Kung nasan man siya, andun din yung puso ko. I want to rush to her and hug her. Pero as far as I know, tulog pa yun, it’s still 4am.

Sa labas ng airport, may dalawang kotse na naghihintay sa’min. One’s ours and the other one …

“Hi dad! How’s your trip?” tanong niya kay Mr. Elizalde

“Good good! So many business opportunities.”

“Business again. We missed you, you know?”

“As I’ve missed you. You look like you haven’t slept yet.”

“Well I really haven’t. I just got home. I went out with one of my friends.”

“Is it a girl?”

“Well dad, yes.”

Bakit nung narinig ko yun bigla akong kinabahan? I looked at Ian menacingly.

“Who is it Ian?” the words went out a little like I was threatening him not to answer that it was Sab who was with him earlier.

“Oh. You’re still here? Your dad’s been waiting for you inside your car.”

Tumingin siya dun sa kotse na nasa harap namin. And oo nga, kanina pa nasa loob si daddy.

“Bye sir. Have a good rest.” pagpapaalam ko kay Mr. Elizalde

Hindi talaga ko mapakali. Ano ba mga nangyari habang wala ako dito? Kailangan kong malaman yun. Baka nasasaktan na naman siya ngayon.

Pagdating sa bahay, dumiretso na ko sa kwarto ko at nagpahinga na dun. Mamaya na ko pupunta sa kanila para malaman ang mga tunay na nangyari.

[Ella’s POV]

Pagkagising na pagkagising ko, siya na naman ang tumatakbo sa isip ko. >______< Hoy Ella! Tama na! Gising na! Nag-ending na yung fairytale mo. Happy ending naman dibaaa? Uwaaaaaa. Namimiss ko na agad siya. Eto ba yung consequences ng decision ko? Aish.

“Ateeeeee! Kumain ka na daw!” biglang pumasok si Sabrina sa kwarto ko.
