8: Akane's powers

Akane walked silently around the village where Kaede lives waiting for Kagome to wake up "this is all my fault" Akane sighed as she looked at the river "how?" Akane jumped and look behind her to see Inuyasha there "because if I didn't run away after what you said I would have never got caught by Naraku... And you wouldn't have came out to that place" Akane looked down "shut up it isn't your fault... We sensed the dark and evil aura in the air and that's where it lead us... Even if you wasn't here then we still would have went there to that place... Plus didn't you say she was alive when you check her pulse?" Inuyasha asked after giving Akane a lecture "yeah... But I still feel it's my fault" Akane sighed "it isn't so stop beating yourself up" Inuyasha said and walked away "you know for a guy who puts on a tuff guy act... Your actually really nice" Akane smiled at him "yeah don't tell anyone it'll ruin my reputation" Inuyasha walked away "haha ok" Akane smiled and walked back to Kaede's house.

When Akane got to Kaede's house she nearly screamed for joy when she seen Kagome up "KAGOME" Akane screamed hugging the life out of her "Akane I'm not dead... But keep this grip on me and I will be" Kagome gasped out "sorry I'm just so happy to see your not dead" Akane smiled with tears of joy "didn't I ask you like 10 minutes ago you checked her pulse and said she's alive" Inuyasha asked Akane sighed "yes but still" Akane hugged Kagome again. Akane told Kagome what had happened when she blacked out after Magatsuhi looked at her "and then Inuyasha and Sesshōmaru killed him the end" Akane clapped her hands together like you would when your closing a book with both your hands "oh" Kagome looked at Akane with a smile "yup... Hmm? Kagome blacked out after Magatsuhi looked at her... Talk about falling for a guy" Akane laughed at her joke "AKANE THATS NOT FUNNY" Kagome yelled "no no it isn't your heart belongs to... Inuyasha" Akane whispered the last part in Kagome's ear "W-WHAT?!" Kagome blushed a dark shade of red "HOLY COW DISEASE KAGOME YOUR MORE RED THEN MY HAIR... Your going to put my hair to shame" Akane giggled as she stroked her hair like a little puppy "shut up Akane" Kagome sighed and got up "ok fine I'll stop teasing you... But can you blame me you were out cold for a few hours and I was missing for a day and a half of a day... It was too long without teasing my little cousin" Akane smiled and rubbed Kagome's hair "your older then me by a day" Kagome dead panned "still" Akane happily skipped out of the hut. Akane walked to the river again 'wait wasn't Kohaku hurt too' Akane looked back at the hut 'might as well check up on him if I notices him that is... Why didn't I notice a full human being in the same hut as Kagome' Akane sighed as she walked back to the hut and walked in to see that Kohaku was still out cold "aww poor Kohaku" Akane frowned at his almost dead like sleeping face 'man I wish I had some sort of cool as powers like Kagome that'll be amazing' Akane sighed as she sat next to Kohaku "please wake up" Akane touched his forehead and he started to stir from his sleep "HOLY INUYASHA KAGOME SANGO MIROKU GET IN HERE" Akane jumped from her spot on the floor after yelling that everyone came running in ready to fight "WHAT'S WRONG" they yelled, Akane pointed to the waking of Kohaku "k-Kohaku" Sango gasped out "what did you do Akane?" Miroku asked "nothing I touched his forehead and BA BAM HE'S MOVING AGAIN" Akane explained "Kagome?" Inuyasha turned to Kagome "the jewel in his back looks like it was purified" Kagome said shocked "I HAVE POWERS" Akane screamed scaring the shit out of everyone "Akane how do you have powers?" Sango asked looking back at Akane "not a clue" everyone fell on the floor and dead panned.

Kohaku woke up and asked what happened "magic" Akane said making a rainbow with her hands "what?" Kohaku asked "nothing just forget about it... Anyway how's ya feeling" Akane asked "like I died again" Kohaku sighed 'makes sense' Akane nodded her head "I'll be back" Akane ran out of the hut after talking in the terminator voice. Akane ran in the woods 'why am I running in the woods' Akane asked herself "LEGS STOP" Akane commanded her legs to stop but they didn't stop "HOLY SHIT IM BEING CONTROLLED BY A TROLL... No wait it's just Naraku" Akane sighed as she stopped right in front of Naraku "nice to see you too" he rolled his eyes "never mind it's a big scary mother effing troll that's mean as f****" Akane sighed "I'll rip your tongue out if you keep this up" Naraku threatened "I'll do whatever you want just please don't take my tongue" Akane said as she bet her tongue, Naraku rolled his eyes again "wait why am I here?" Akane asked confused "because you have the same power as Midroiko and you look human but your aura leads you to be not human" Akane nearly jumped in Naraku's arms when she heard Magatsuhi's evil voice behind her "God maid give me a heart attack next time" Akane held her heart trying to slow it down "I might if you keep this up" Magatsuhi in a terrifying new form said as he appeared "yup I'm a goner" Akane hide behind Naraku for protection "TAKE THE MAN FIRST" Akane pushed Naraku at Magatsuhi and ran for her life "hahahahaha suckers" Akane laughed but was caught by Magatsuhi... Again. Akane sighed as she dangled in the air "man you know how to capture a girls heart don't ya" Akane said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes "shut up" Naraku said before Magatsuhi "I have a question?" Akane said "what's that" they asked "are you two like... Working together? Or are you two... like dating?" Akane got flanged against a tree after she said the last part "I'll take that as a no" Akane sighed has she rubbed her head and looked to see if there was any blood... Which there was "YOU LITTLE SHIT HEADS... I'm bleeding" Akane screamed then whined in pain "suck it up" they said "you know whenever someone says suck it up I get the urge to break their legs with a baseball bat and say walk it off" Akane glared at them. Naraku and Magatsuhi was getting pissed off with Akane at this moment "if you would have not let her go before hand then I could have gotten Kohaku's shard in his back" Magatsuhi said to Naraku "she annoyed me" Naraku defended himself "real mature" Akane said sarcastically 'I'm being a sarcastic b**** these days' Akane sighed as she tried to stop the bleeding but failed horribly "so you said I have this persons powers right? And my aura is giving off some sort of different types?" Akane looked up at Magatsuhi "yes and it's Midroiko's powers" he corrected her "bless you... Anyway" Magatsuhi was getting even more pissed off with her "what was her powers anyway?" Akane asked "she could purify any demon and render them useless or weak" he explained "so in other words I can render both you and Naraku weak and useless" Akane smirked "yes but you don't know how you use your power or brain to do that" Magatsuhi said "that was cold" Akane sighed "shut up" both of them said "Naraku keep her here well I go get the last jewel shard" Magatsuhi went away after saying that "SHIT NO" Akane tried to stand up but her blood loss made it hard for her to stand so she fell on the ground "shit shut shit shit" Akane mumbled under her breath "for a girl you have really bad language" Naraku sighed "you haven't heard half of it yet" Akane sighed, Naraku stayed quit "try hurting me I'll kill you" Akane glared at him "good luck" he smirked "remember I GOT THE POWER" Akane started singing I got the power to Naraku just to piss him off more and it worked "SHUT UP" he yelled at her "fine fine" Akane stayed quiet and she could hear Kagome and Sango yelling along with everyone else 'I feel so useless... Even when I do have this power I still feel useless' Akane huffed leaning her head back on the tree trying to drown out the yelling and screaming she kept thinking of her aura 'maybe I'm batman?' Akane sighed at that thought trying to hold in her giggle.
