CHAPTER 32 - End?

Inarez is a big project, it will serves as their legacy. Kaya naman hindi na ako nagtaka na makakasama namin si Gavin.

Though I feel nervous because I don't know if I can handle this situation. But for Inarez where I owe my career, I will do my very best to work with him professionally.

Sana lang makayanan ko.

I really admire how Gav was able to work with me as if nothing happens. As in literally, its like we never met in college, we never had the one month deal and we never had a thing.

The way he treated me now is just like his employee. And for the first time I feel intimidated by him.

Ito pala ang feeling ng mga kasamahan ko.

And now I can't believe that I am feeling nervous right night. We will have a meeting with Gav for Inarez of course.

After few minutes, we saw Gav entering the meeting room with someone.

May naramdaman akong kirot habang nakikita silang nakangiti sa isa't isa. Mukhang may malalim na pinagsamahan.

Napalunok ako. Iniisip ko pa lang na magpupunta si Gav sa iba ay para na akong pinapatay. Pero kailangan kong tanggapin. Ito na talaga siguro ang kapalaran ko.

I just hope that in the end me and Seb will live our happily ever after.

And speaking of Seb, he's calling me.

I excuse myself kahit na nga alam kong narito na si Gav. Tutal ay mukha naman di pa magsisimula ang meeting dahil busy pa siya sa makikipag kwentuhan sa kasama niya.

"Where are you going Ms. Custodio?" Formal na tanong ni Gav.

"I just need to answer this call." Formal din na sagot ko.

Nagtaas ito ng kilay. "A call from your boyfriend? Go on." Malamig na sabi nito.

Narinig ko ang pagsinghap ng mga tao sa paligid.

Nagkibit balikat na lang ako.

Dahil wala na naman akong dapat itago.

Sam and Seb already cancelled their engagement.

And next week Seb's family will celebrate their company's anniversary. And in that event, they are also announcing our relationship.

"Seb?"

'Hey babe!' Bati nito.

"Bakit napatawag ka? May problema ba?"

'Pag may problema lang ba pwedeng tumawag sa girlfriend ko?' Malambing ngunit may pagtatampo sa tinig nito.

Napangiti ako. Bakit nga ba ako humahanap pa ng iba? Nandito si Seb na mahal na mahal ako. Kaysa isipin ko ang ibang tao, kay Seb ko na lang ibubuhos ang pagmamahal ko. He deserves it anyway.
