(Oml this chapter sucks)

I let out a groan, watching as the rock -yet again- sinked back into the lake.

"I don't get how to do it," I complained, reaching over Calum to grab another flat stone. He quietly laughed to himself, moving next to me to fill in the gap between us. Calum wrapped his arm around me, grabbing onto my hand from behind.

"You just curl your hand in a little," he explained, pulling my hand in as I adjusted the stone. "Then you just quickly... Fling out of of your hand." He flung the rock out of my grip, letting it glide across the lake. It skimmed 7 times perfectly, hitting a small wave before it sunk.

I looked up Calum.

"How did you learn to do it?"

He shrugged, slightly pulling away from me.

"I just kinda picked up on it, I guess."

"Dad has tried to teach me it so many times, he kinda just gave up after a while." I said, with a soft chuckle. Calum leant back on his palms, looking at me.

"Well, now you know how to do it." He smiled, passing me another stone. I did as he taught me, curling my hand in, before flicking it across the water. It skinned the water, only bouncing three times before sinking. But it was enough to get me excited, turning to Calum with a smile on my face.

"I did it!" I excitedly said, gesturing to the water. He chuckled, nodding.

"You sure did."

"I've been trying to do that for so long; I never knew it was so easy!" I laughed, feeling his hand move to my back as he leant forward.

I looked at him, a slight blush on my cheeks as I realised how carried away I got with the minor achievement. I probably looked like an absolute fool to him because of how excited I got. I couldn't help it though, the amount of times I'd tried to skim a stone across this lake was uncanny. And somehow I'd just nailed it.

"Sorry. I get a bit carried away sometimes." I excused myself, laughing under my breath as I looked out to the lake.

"Don't apologise. I find it fascinating." He said, voice lowering as he pulled away. I turned to him, inching myself to the side.

"You find what fascinating?" I asked, my voice smaller than before. I admired Calum up this close, but I couldn't lie, it was damn intimidating.

"You." He simply said, eyes darkening as I slowly but my lip.

"You find me fascinating?" I quietly asked. Calum nodded.

"Extremely."

"Wow..." I breathed, glancing down at the buttons on his jacket.

"You don't think you are?" He questioned, sounding somewhat taken back. He honestly expected me to believe I thought so highly of myself? In reality, I didn't think much of my own self. I didn't really care, frankly. I was just existing, I did what I wanted to do and didn't care much for how I felt. Rarely did I ever go out of my own way to make myself happy or focus too much on my sadness; I existed. Not lived.

"No... Not at all, really."

"Wow..." He breathily mocked, causing me to laugh to myself shaking my head at him.

"Don't mock me."

"I just find it weird you think you're not fascinating... You're the most captivating person I've ever met; and not to mention how effortlessly captivating you are." He said.

"You could sit still in a room full of moving people, not moving a muscle, and somehow have me... Absolutely entranced by the smallest thing... Like the rise and fall of your chest. You honestly don't understand your abilities Stella," he spoke gently, leaning in. "Use that to your advantage."

I suddenly woke from a small thud outside. Immediately, I sat up, absolutely dazed from my dream.

No- was it even a dream?

I looked around, finally grasping onto the reality around me. I laid on the couch in the tv room, the sound of a tv show playing faintly in the background. I glanced around, noticing it was night time already.

"Dad?" I called out, slowly moving to my feet. I received no answer in response, letting me know I was home alone. Of course. Typical. He leaves without telling me, and leaves me no message at all.

I turned the tv off, tiredly walking over to my room. I slipped off my top the second I was in my room, letting the fabric fall to the floor as I stood topless, in the middle of my room. Next off, I slipped my pants off to the ground, my undies following straight after. I switched the lights off as I moved to my bed, slipping under the covers.

I let out a small sigh as I relaxed in to the warm covers, my eyes closing the second I got comfy. But the sounds of my window cracking open sent me straight up, my body instinctually jumping in fear. I grabbed the blanket up, around myself, hiding myself from dark figure pulling my curtains apart.

I watched as the figure tugged the hoodie off, instantly causing me to relax.

"Jesus Christ Calum, you can't do that-"

"Come on!" He interrupted, stepping into my room. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"What?"

"Hurry! Come on!" He rushed me, walking over to my bed. I covered myself more, instantly catching his attention. He placed his hand on the end of my duvet, grabbing a fist full.

"No! Don't pull it, I'm naked!" I embarrassedly said, trying to tug the fabric away from his grasp. Calum remained standing there, a smirk growing on his lips as his grip on the duvet tightening.

"Why are you naked?"

"I like to sleep naked!" I snapped, pulling the cover from his hands. I heard Calum lowly chuckle, his eyes briefly closing.

"You shouldn't sleep naked and leave your window unlocked, you know. Anyone could walk through."

"You obviously just proved that!" I said, my cheeks flushing red from embarrassment. Calum straightened himself up, walking over to the window again.

"Gets dressed and be outside, okay?" He said, raising his eyebrows at me. I looked up at him, my body tensing as I out eyes met. They'd turned unusually dark.

"Why?" I quietly asked, intimidated by the fact I laid naked and venerable, only covered by a blanket when Calum stood in front of me, his figure outlined in a white glow from the moonshine. He looked like some sort of Angel from here; how was someone this beautiful even real?

"I'll be waiting." He said, a small smile on his lips before he turned around and off my room through the window.

I didn't protest. I got straight up and got changed faster than I heartbeat. I was intrigued by what he so desperately wanted to show me that I completely forgot about the fact my dad and Katy could come home any second. My dad would go batshit crazy if he knew I was out with some guy i'd only met this week, at 2 in the morning. He'd ground me for the rest of my life...

Maybe that's why I tugged on my shoes and followed Calum out to my front yard, forgetting to stuff a line of pillows under my covers to make it look like I was sound asleep. Maybe that's why I took Calum's hand and let him lead me down the pitch black park, just the same as the other night.

Calum had some sort of control over me. Though the thought was concerning, I didn't want to do anything about it. In all honesty, if Calum wanted me then he was going to have me. And for once, the idea didn't scare me away; in fact, it brought me closer to him.
