i'm sorry in advance. x

I was brought out of my state of shock all in an instant as I heard my lovers raging voice. My whole body was numb and paralysed with fear and disbelief- I had no time to process all the events that had just taken place, because now it was onto the next heartbreak.

The sight shattered my ribs and left me breathless. Calum's hands wrapped around the bars of the cage, gripping with bleeding knuckles as he stared at me and screamed my name. I slowly blinked away the disassociation I had myself trapped in and forced myself back into reality, just in time to hear Calum's faint words.

"I love you." Was all he said as he was ripped away from the side of the cage by his much bigger opponent.

I let in a heavy breath, feeling my limbs gain feeling once again. Calum was thrown to the ground, a loud thud echoing through the raging field. I quickly gathered myself and moved to stand up, my shaky knees pushing up my weight before buckling. The strong men beside me, instantly pushed me back down and I fell right back onto my bruised shins. The pain was nothing compared to what was happening in front of me though.

Calum was tossed aside carelessly, the bulky man throwing himself at him the second after. He copped every single agonising punch, but still kept up one hell of a fight. Cal reached to grab the mans wrists, but was denied dominance constantly. I had never seen him this way before; not the dominant one. He usually always had everything under control, he always held the upper hand. But now, it was as though he was admitting defeat and succumbing to the strong mans supremacy.

Everyone was cheering, screaming for the man to end Calum's life. I could barely catch my breath whilst watching them, it felt like I was watching everything shatter right before me.
Everything that mattered most to me was about to be completely destroyed right before my very eyes.

I managed to scamper back to my feet, swaying slightly before catching my balance. I took one leap closer to the cage before I was thrown down yet again, my short lived freedom only making me itch for more.

"C-Calum! Come on!" I shouted through a croaky voice, a sob raking through my body as a man clutched onto my wrists, holding me down. I was beginning to grow more restless the longer I watched; Calum was not putting up that much of a fight anymore.

His opponent had his smaller body trapped under him and delivered punch after punch, grunting as he performed with as much force as possible. Just as I thought he had completely given up, Calum reached up and managed to grab ahold of his wrist. With ease, he had managed to completely throw the man off, pushing him to the ground. I let out a heavy sigh, my eyes glued to the scene in front of me. He threw ruthless punches at the mans face, whilst blood dripped down his own forehead.

I felt my body light up with hope the longer I watched, my breath steadying: he was back on track. He finally held the upper hand again.
Calum was weakening his opposition, fighting relentlessly to tide him out so he had a better chance at effortlessly snapping his neck. I nervously watched on, my breath getting caught in my throat as I saw the strong man grab ahold of Calum's wrist, yanking it backwards. I flinched, my hand flying over my mouth in shock as the stranger pushed Cal off without even thinking twice.

"Yes! That's more like it!" Felix happily chanted from his seat, a devilish kind of grin on his blood red lips. I watched in horror as the man fought Calum, twisting his limbs and causing a cry of pain to tumble from his lips.
