lmao smuuuuttttttt

«Calum's pov»

She munched on the burnt cheese toasty, my eyes not one leaving her as I watched her devour the food. I knew she wasn't going to admit that the cheese toasty was beyond decent because she didn't want to give me the satisfaction of knowing. She never liked to give me the satisfaction of achieving much between us, and I couldn't help but love it. She was nothing but a tease when it came to this sort of stuff.

"I'm assuming it's pretty good then?" I  asked, a smirk on my lips. She looked at me, laughing under her breath.

"I mean... It's not bad."

"So it's good." I reaffirmed.

"I guess." She shrugged, continuing to eat what was left of her food. I could feel it was fixing her hunger instantly, She suddenly felt a lot better. I watched her closely, suddenly remembering that had to address what had been on my mind for days. I had the opportunity know, we were both in lighthearted conversation. It was the perfect opportunity.

"I wanna ask you something." I said, turning my body towards her. She looked up at me, softly nodding her head to encourage me. I lowly cleared my throat, head resting on the back of my hands, eyes studying her closely. She took another bite of the food before placing it down and turning to face me.

"I was thinking, our relationship needs a bit of... Normality." I briefly explained. She furrowed her eyebrows at what i'd said.

"What do you mean..?"

"We've been going through hell lately, with everything happening around us. I was thinking we could do more normal things. Like typical teenage relationship things." I said, causing her to quietly laugh, raising her eyebrows at what I said.

"Define typical teenage relationship things." She softly spoke, watching as i shifted even closer to her, my hands moving to her legs. I gently tugged her legs over mine as i hummed under my breath. It was a difficult scenario to put into words.

"You know... Like going to parties. Going on cheesy dates, getting drunk together in a park. Experiencing our teenage-hood together."

"That would work, if you were still technically a teenager." She shrugged, watching as i playfully rolled my eyes at her words. I adored how sarcastic and cheeky she was.

"You get what I mean, Stel. I want to be normal with you, and do normal things."

"But we're not normal, Cal." She softly said. I shrugged, leaning in to place a kiss on the side of her neck. I had to admit, this was my favourite place to kiss her- alongside her precious spot between her thighs.

"Doesn't mean we can't pretend." I mumbled against her skin, trailing my lips down her neck. She placed her hand in my hair, agreeing with what i'd said.

He was right. We needed a bit of lightheartedness amongst us. We've been surrounded by evil the second we met, it's about time we got to explore the more youthful side to our relationship. The exciting, raw side.

"Yeah... I guess you're right."

I pulled away, a smile on my lips as i looked at her.

"Well since we're on this topic, I've got a party tomorrow night. My mates having a house party, do you wanna come with me?" I asked. I felt her insides rush with nerves and excitement the second the words left my lips. I knew what she was so nervous about, and it made me want to destroy Chet for infecting her mind like this. Honestly, I should have killed him whilst I had the chance.
