Draco didn't know what woke him up...But whatever it was, would be receiving a nasty complaint that would be pretty loud...Except he saw a pair of big eyes staring into his groggy, sleep-filled ones.

"D-drake?"

Drake got scared of the deep voice and took off running towards a group of voices on the other side of the alcove by the tables out in the library area.

Draco slowly roused himself enough to watch the young dragon, hiding behind Bowen, Brother Gilbert and Friar Peter.

"Ever heard of *yawn* sleeping in child?"

Drake stopped and tilted his head. "Yes...But I stay up all the time...sort of..." Drake cautiously looked up at Friar Peter, who was giving him a raised eyebrow.

"Well...I-I do have a time when I'm supposed to go to bed..." Drake said afterward.

Bowen laughed.

Draco made a low humming noise as Drake backed up a step or two in between Friar Peter's legs.

"It's alright Drake, go on..."

"B-b-but-but I..."

"Oh for heaven's sake Drake, go on!" Friar Peter laughed as he kneeled down and pushed the little dragon forward as Drake let out a quick startled yelp.

Drake was uneasy...that was sure...but as he crept closer, the young dragon looked back at the friar expectantly.

"Go ahead...say hello..."

Drake's eyes slowly fixed back on Draco, then lowered his head with his eyes closed, not meeting the bigger dragon's gaze. His voice was quiet and soft.

"...He...Hello..."

Draco lowered his head down to Drake's view, making the young dragon flinch as the big dragon got closer. "Hello Drake, I've heard a lot about you...You look like you're feeling better, hmm?"

"Yeah...I am know thank you." Drake was calm, but he couldn't help but stare at the larger dragon on awe as he unknowingly blurted out his thoughts. "You're...you're another dragon like me..."

"Yes," Draco paused for a moment, thinking of what he should say next. He couldn't really bring himself to say it and looked over at Bowen and Brother Gilbert with a pleading nod.

"Uh...Drake," Brother Gilbert spoke, "I think you are old enough to know who this is. You are well familiar with the tale of Bowen and your father."

Drake nodded.

"Well...I'd like to introduce you to Draco...Drake, this is your father."

Drake lifted his head up slightly with a quit but sharp gasp. "Y-you-you are my dad ?"

Brother Gilbert smiled at Draco's deep 'thrumming', the dragon looking more relaxed and at ease than he had ever since the letter had arrived yesterday.

Draco truly loved his son...

"Yes young one, and I have wanted to meet you for such a long time." Bowen couldn't help but hear Draco's voice crack. "I'm glade that I finally have."

Drake lifted his head up slightly with a shy smile. "N-nice to meet you too..."

Drake was tired...not extremely but you could tell...only Friar Peter wouldn't be able to get him to sleep until his attention shifted from Draco...but that could take weeks. Drake was easily fascinated with something and wouldn't ignore it until he had rendered it useless or found every possible use for it. And that included Draco. At the moment: Specifically Draco's tail.
