It released an ear splitting roar, filled with so much power that it sent pebbles flying. It was a warning.
Swallowing my fear, I took another step towards it, stopping when he barred his fangs. "How am I supposed to help you if you keep trying to scare me away?" I watched as it tilted its head, examing me, cautiously. There must be a reason. It's protecting something, i bet."What do you have to be afraid of?"
I take another step and it shoots me a warning glare before roaring again. It thinks I'm a threat. Dropping down, I get on all fours. I drop my head, showing submission and inch my way closer to it.
Something in me was yearning to be closer. It was pulling me to it, like two magnets drawn together. Telling me that it needed my help as I needed its. Not that i knew of a reason i needed help from The Dragon of Death, but for whatever reason, I was dragged closer and closer. I stopped a few feet away and meet his cold, cautious eyes.
I watched as his eyes got bigger in surprise before slowly closing.
"What you doing?"
I jumped at the loud voice coming from beside me. Swinging my head around, I came face to face with bright green eyes. Familiar green eyes. He had a head full of curly dark brown hair and chubby cheeks. When he smiled at my startled reaction, a left dimple appeared. He couldn't have been more than two years old. There was only one word to describe him. Cute. Absolutely adorable.
"Where did you come from?" I asked the little boy. He pointed towards the dragon. Huh? I alternated between the dragon whose eyes were still closed and the boy. Well, it was protecting something. Why not a kid? "Wanna help me move it?"
He flashed me a smile before running and jumping on the dragon's back. "Daddy, get up. Time to go!"
Daddy?! I didn't know the dragon of death could have human kids. Maybe dragon kids yeah. But human? Maybe the boy's a dragon too? But he doesn't give off a dragon vibe....But how would a dragon have a human kid? Unless his mother is human. But how would that even work? Can you artificially inseminate a lady with Dragon sperm? Wait, don't dragons lay eggs? So that boy hatched from an egg?! I'm so confused.
I snapped back to reality when a bright glow was emitted from the dragon. Instictively, i closed my eyes until the light faded away. When i opened them, the dragon had turned into a guy! It took a moment for me to realize that he was in his birthday suit. It took a few more seconds before i could actually command my brain to operate.
I felt my cheeks flush with heat and hurriedly turned away. However, the damage was already done. All the scars he bore on his broad chest had been committed to memory. With all the crisscrossing scars on his chest, i could tell he got into a lot of tumbles.
"So" I jumped when he he spoke, his voice soft but deep, and slightly louder than i was expecting. Whipping my head around, his grey eyes stared at me from mere inches away. I scrambled back so fast, i fell on my butt.
"What in the? What are you doing? Put on some clothes!" I frowned as he smirked at my reaction.
"Don't have any." He moved away from me and longued on the ground, both arms underneath his chocolate brown hair, clearly not bothered being seen in the nude. I don't know why I even care. I'm not the one whose naked. Shaking my head, i look at the boy as he stumbles over to me, handing me the flowers that he was picking.
"Here go."
I smile before taking them. "Thank you. They're so pretty."
He averts his gaze and looks at the ground. "So are you."
