ah, the awkward side hug story

never gets old

okAY

so we were split into groups for an assignment, and it was me, him, and two other boys in a group.

the three of them were talking about stuff while working and he was saying something about getting pubes stuck in braces, typical.

the super shipper teacher comes over and she asks how we're doing

me (slightly aggravated): "i'm fine"

him: *looks at me* *looks at teacher*

him (talking to the teacher): "i just torment her every day that she's in class."

him (talking to me): "like your shirt says, you tolerate me."

me: "it's not just you i tolerate, it's almost everyone."

and he looks into my eyes before slowly and very awkwardly wrapping his arms lightly around me from the side (since we were sitting next to each other) and hugs me

directly in front of the other two boys

and in front of the entire class

i just froze and my heart started pounding

he slowly and awkwardly pulls away, looks at the other two boys, looks at me, and says:

"you didn't think i'd do that, did you?"

and me, being a little awkward fucking shit, i said:

"well that was unexpected."

i started working again and he started joking around and 'narrating my thoughts', saying stuff like "oh god don't ever touch me again or i'll slap you." and acting like i was thinking that stuff.

but i wasn't at all.

and when i'm around him, i blush

a lot.
