a little later, our teacher flips out and tells the whole class to be quiet.

that doesn't stop him.

i put down my pencil to pick up my phone and quickly send a snapchat

and as i put it back, i see him casually pick up my purple mechanical pencil and take it.

"this is mine now. mine."

"...okay? i don't really care, i guess?"

(my awkwardness is so real)

i reach into my purse and pull out a mini blue mechanical pencil.

he looks at it, and i just keep working.

he turns his focus to the purple one that he took and inspects and fondles it for a solid 5 minutes.

(to be fair, it is a long, shiny metal one and it's pretty nice, but not that nice.)

then, when i think he's going to return it, he reaches his hand around and drops the pencil down the back of my shirt.

"oH m Y Go D"

he starts laughing as i flinch away.

It got stuck on a part of my bra and he started laughing even more because i could hardly reach it, and after 10 seconds of awkward fumbling, i got it out, and he reached onto my desk and he takes the blue one that i was using, leaving me with the purple one that had just taken a trip down my shirt.

i start working again, and about two minutes later, he does the same thing with the blue pencil, and i flinch away again

howeVER

this time, his brisker movements caused him to brush his hand and fingers against my neck and upper back

i was not prepared for that.

the physical contact sent a feeling of chills and lightning down my spine and across my shoulders.

this is where i began to become a very flustered mess; my self control goes plummeting.

i reach around and grab the blue pencil from the top of my shirt as he grabs the purple pencil from my desk.

he laughs a little and says:

"i like how you don't even try to stop me, you just withdraw."

he tries to drop the purple pencil down my shirt once again, but i move a little to try to stop him

but when i moved, the back of my neck moved into his hand

and my heart was racing; i could feel myself heating up as i grabbed both pencils at the same time, putting the blue one on the opposite side of my desk, avoiding his gaze.

he smirks, and says:

"you're looking quite red."

"w-what?"

"you're quite flushed in the face."

this makes me blush even more and i try to cover my face with my hoodie sleeves acting as sweater paws.

5 minutes later, i make the stupid mistake of picking up my phone again, and i can't stop him from reaching across and taking the blue one.

i'm on edge waiting for him to move again, and in about 30 seconds, he does, and i reach my hand out to take it and say

"don't"

of course, he simply says:

"i'm beginning to think that you don't trust me, miss katherine"

and he opens the hood of my hoodie and drops the pencil in.

I take it out, and try working once again, ignoring my phone completely

he picks up the mini blue one again, and tries to drop it again

but this time, he's at the front of my shirt.

thankfully, i caught the pencil before it fell entirely inside the front of my shirt, but he said

"dammit."

he picked up the purple one, reinstating that it's his now, and saying that he's finished now, and i assumed that he was saying that he's done with dropping my pencils everywhere

...which was fine, because i don't need to be blushing that much.

then, the super-shipper teacher came over to ask him if he finished his work

he said no and began to laugh

and i don't know why, but i felt the need to explain why, which was so stupid.

"that's because he was too busy dropping pencils down my shirt."

her eyes widen, and she looks between the two of us, clearly taken aback by this explanation.

he must have seen her wide eyes too, because then he chimed in:

"not in the front"

(which wasn't true, because he obviously tried to once, but i kept my mouth shut.)

and she says:

"well this just got very weird."

she starts to walk behind us to her desk and he replies:

"i could make it weirder if you want."

i just bury my flushed face into my 'sweater paws' as our teacher quickly says:

"no i would nOT LIKE IT TO BE ANY WEIRDER, LET'S NOT."

he starts hysterically laughing

and then the bell rings.

it's such a shame that he's dropping out in about a month

because it is now very clear to me, (even if i don't wanna agree with it) that i like this boy

a lot.
