The One Thing I Can't Fight (Killua X OC)

September X First

On the morning of September first, Gon, Killua, and Usagi were visiting the Yorknew Market in hopes of finding some more treasure.

"Wow! There's a lot of people here!" Gon exclaimed.

"Yeah, but we have to be careful not to buy anything risky; this market's purpose is to swindle people who come for the auction," Usagi warned.

"What? This isn't the auction venue?" Gon asked.

"Obviously. Yorknew's auction is held once a year in the world's largest auction house," Killua pointed out.

Gon nodded his understanding and they walked on. After passing a few people Usagi spoke saying, "When do you guys think Kurapika and Leorio will show up?"

"They promised to meet us here, so it should be soon," Killua answered her.

"Maybe they'll try to contact us," Gon wondered as he pulled out a purple phone.

"Hey, you need to get a new phone," Killua told him.

"Yeah, that thing looks decades old!" Usagi teased.

Gon put a hand on the back of his neck. The group walked up to a table selling phones and the man started showing them all kinds of things.

"Hey, and welcome!" said the man behind the counter. "This ones great, it's the hottest current model! It has a GPS and cones in handy when finding people–"

"Don't bother." The three turned around. "It can't make international calls and isn't even waterproof. The model is made for people who only make calls," Leorio said.

"Leorio!" Gon exclaimed.

"Yo!" He replied. "I would recommend... this Beetle 07. It's a little heavy and pricey, but it includes a translator for two hundred languages used worldwide."

"What? seriously?" Killua questioned. "Go with this one, I'll buy one two."

"Yeah!" Gon said.

"Wow, the old man of the group is being helpful, huh?" Usagi teased.

"Haha... Three, please."

"Three will cost six hundred thousand."

"Six hundred thousand?! That's expensive, pops!!" Leorio yelled.

"Thanks, Leorio!" Gon said as they walked off.

"But, damn, 110,580 Jenny apiece, huh? It's a new model so it's a fair price, I guess, but still...!" Leorio exclaimed afterwards. "Anyways, how are you guys doing?"

"What do you mean?" Gon asked him.

"You've trained and gotten stronger, right?"

Killua made a funny face.

"WHAT?!" Leorio exclaimed after they all sat down. "You returned the tag to Hisoka at Heavens Arena? And you have to be pretty good to reach the 200s..."

Usagi raised her hand slyly while drinking a smoothie. "And I beat the hell out of my sister/nemesis."

"I think it was the other way around," Killua added.

"Did you learn Nen?" Gon asked to change the subject.

"You bet I did," Leorio said, leaning over the table and adjusting his glasses.

"Awesome!" Gon said.

"Really?" Killua asked.

"Why would I lie to you? It's the ability to build up a shroud of aura, one's own life force..." He passed a troll face to Killua, who sighed with Usagi.
