Abby’s Point of View
I woke up and- this isn’t my room, where the fuck- oh yeah, Oli’s. I felt Oli start to move next to me but he didn’t wake up. I went into the kitchen and out a kettle in; I really hope he’s okay. He is such a good guy and doesn’t deserve to feel like this. It wasn’t his fault that his friend got into an accident, but he’d never see it that way. I felt arms wrap around my waist and I almost jumped. I hadn’t even heard Oli get up and walk into the kitchen with me. “Morning, Love.” He said in an amazingly sexy morning voice. “Morning Babe.” I said and turned to kiss him on the cheek. I heard my phone ringing and wriggled out of Oli’s grip so I could answer it, it was Matt. Shit. “Hello” I said slowly when I picked up. “Abby, where the hell are you?!” Matt shouted and I just shook my head. “Where were you? You didn’t call, you didn’t answer your phone, and you didn’t come home.” I said and heard him sigh on the other end. “I was somewhere, where are you I will pick you up?” he asked and I laughed. “No, I will come home when I want. I’m a big girl now Matt, you can’t demand I be home I can make my own decisions.” I said sternly and he hung up. Oli’s phone started ringing and he walked in the room to answer it. “Hello… yeah, mate…no I haven’t heard from her…I will let you know…later.” I heard Oli’s end of the phone conversation. I raised an eye brow and he nodded; it was Matt and he was looking for me. “Want to see my café today?” I asked and Oli smiled. “Um, Oli, I don’t have extra clothes…” I said and Oli laughed and motioned for me to follow him into the spare room. He opened a box and pointed to a small black bag. I picked it up and it had a pair of my jeans and a shirt and everything in it. I smiled and kissed his cheek, he must’ve known I would eventually stay overnight. Oli told me to change in his room and he took some clothes and went to change in the washroom. I put on my jeans and my shirt that says “Reality Bites”, along with my white beanie. I put on a thin line of eye liner and some mascara, and then put on my key necklace and my black pair of Toms that were also in the bag. I set Oli’s shirt on the bed and walked back into the kitchen. The kettle was hissing so I poured two mugs of hot water and put a tea bag in each of them. I looked around and there was no sugar, he’s going to have to go shopping for food soon. Speaking of he, where is Oli? I glanced down the hall and the washroom door was still shut. I walked over and knocked softly on the door, “Oli, tea is ready.” I said and there was no answer. “Oli…Oli!” I began to pound on the door.
Oliver’s Point of View
I heard Abby pounding on the door and yelling, I felt bad for not answering but I didn’t want her to see this. I quickly dabbed my arms and sloppily rewrapped the same thing of gauze around my wrists. I opened the door and out on a fake smile. “What the fuck were you doing!?” she yelled and I was taken back by that, I honestly didn’t expect it. “I was just getting changed and-“ I started to say but she cut me off. “That’s bullshit, Oliver! It doesn’t take that long to put on a pair of jeans and a shirt!” she yelled and then her eyes darted to my arms. I stepped back but she took a few steps over to me. She held her hand out to me and I hesitated before I out my hand in hers. She turned my arm over so my wrists were facing up and she unwound the gauze and then she looked up at me. “Oli…” I just shook my head and pulled my arms back. “Don’t even say it, I know what you’re going to say.” I said and sat on the edge of the tub. Sure enough she joined me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder and kissed me on the cheek. And that was more than words could’ve ever done. She got up and wrapped up my wrists again and I sighed, she shouldn’t have to do this. “What’s wrong, babe?” she asked and I stood up. “Nothing.” I said with a small smile. We walked into the kitchen to cold tea, yuck. I dumped it down the drain and apologized because she didn’t get to drink her tea. “You’re more important than tea.” She said and I laughed. “And you call yourself English, I think not.” I said and she laughed and pecked my lips. “Shall we?” she said and extended her hand to me. I grabbed my keys and took her hand.
When we got to her café she jumped out of the car and ran up to unlock the door. There were a few sticky notes on the windows saying that people wanted to apply for jobs, never seen that before. Oh well. It was a cute little shop and the atmosphere was different that other café’s here. It was really cool, everything had neutral colors. She did a really good job, and the layout made everything feel welcoming. She got out her phone and started calling the numbers people had left and set up a bunch of interviews for today. “Want to help interview people?” she asked and I nodded. I didn’t care what I was doing, as long as I was with Abby.
Matt Nicholls’ Point of View
I was worried about Abby; at the same time I was pissed off she wouldn’t tell me where she was. I was driving around town trying to find her car and I finally spotted it at the location where her café would be, it looked nice from the outside. I got out of my car and began walking towards the front doors. It was already getting dark outside so I hoped to be home with Abby for dinner. I moved out view when I saw Abby inside with some guy. They were talking and walking towards the door. They kissed then walked outside. Oh my god. “ABBY!” I yelled and she jumped away from him with a frightened look in her eyes. “Matt what are you doing here?” she said in a shaky voice. “What the hell are you doing here with him.” I said and she looked over to Oli who was speechless. “Matt, we were just-“ Abby started to say but I yelled over her. “Sneaking around behind my back? Lying to everyone?” I yelled and she sunk back into Oli. “Chill out mate.” Oli said and I almost killed him right there and then. “Chill out? You’re the one sneaking around with MY sister!” I yelled and they started walking towards her car. “Don’t fucking come home tonight Abby; and Oli band practice is cancelled this week. Fuck both of you.” I spat then got back into my car and drove home.

Oli agreed to let me stay at his place until Matt had calmed down, and I have no idea how long that would take. When we got back to Oli’s apartment we ordered pizza and waited for the delivery guy. I was sitting on the kitchen counter and Oli kept pacing. “Oli, calm down; Babe it’ll be okay.” I said and smiled at him. He walked over and put his head on my shoulder and mumbled something I didn’t hear. “I knew this would happen.” He said and sighed loudly. “Oli, this is the hell I knew was coming.” I said and he nodded in agreement. “We both knew this would happen yet we did it anyways, why?” he said and looked up at me for my answer. “Because we knew it was worth it.” I said and kissed him lightly. “We can get some of your stuff tomorrow while Matt is out so you have clothes and such.” He said and I smiled and nodded. “Oli, please try not to cut. I know it’s not about me but I hate seeing you like that.” I said and kissed his nose. “Alright, Love.” He said and looked down at the ground. I wonder what was going through his mind, there was so much pain and hurt and confusion in his eyes and I couldn’t help but feel like I caused some of it. I love this man and if I lose him I don’t know what I will do.
