Abby’s Point of View

Mason walked over to me and smirked creepily down at me, he began to unchain me and I guess it’s now or never. I slung my arm around Mason’s waist and stood on my toes to give him a kiss. He looked shocked but content. “I guess you serve no purpose here anymore, she doesn’t love you, and she never loved you.” Mason laughed at Oliver. Oli hung his head as Mason unchained him, as soon as he was free Oli swung at Mason. Before I knew it Oli had Mason on the ground and was hitting him as hard as he could. After a few more minutes of this I pulled Oli off of Mason, “Come on Oli, we have to go find Scarlett.” I said as I grabbed his hand and ran out of the room. We quickly found her, locked up in the next room over. “Come here baby, its okay, daddy’s got you.” Oli whispered to her as he picked her up. She was not tired up because the room was locked and didn’t have any windows so she had nowhere to go anyways. We ran back out into the open room where we were locked up and saw Mason starting to stand up. Oli handed Scarlett to me as Mason began walking towards us. “You think you can get away but you can’t, you guys can never leave…” Mason began but Oli punched him in the face so hard it knocked Mason to the ground and unconscious. “No one messes with my family.” Oli scowled at Mason, “Come on babe, time to go home.” Oli said softly as he led us outside.

We had called the cops using the cell phone in Mason’s van, when they arrived they questioned us and checked us for any signs of injury, thankfully we were all okay. The police gave us a ride home since we had no other way home and they said Mason would be dealt with. I hope so because I’m sick of that creep messing everything up with Oli and I. I was shaken out of my thoughts when Oli tapped me on the shoulder as we pulled up to our home. We thanked to cop and went inside. Oli went upstairs to give Scarlett a bath and I went into my washroom to take a shower.

Oliver’s Point of View

I finished giving Scarlett a bath and put her down for a nap and took a shower, all before Abby got out of her shower. I went downstairs to lie down on the couch and wait for her, we defiantly had to talk. She eventually came downstairs to join me on the couch. She plopped down on the couch a few feet away from me and began looking down at her hands, which had nothing on them. She wasn’t wearing her engagement ring. “Oli, we have to talk…” she said and I just nodded in response, “Maybe we could go to the hospital and get Scarlett’s DNA tested to see if she is yours or not?” she suggested but I just shook my head no. “No, it’s okay, as long as she’s in my life and I can see her every day, then she’s my baby just as much as she’s yours.” I said simply and she slowly nodded. “Oli, this was all my fault again, and I can’t believe I didn’t listen to you the very first time I ran into him, this all would never have happened and…” she started rambling so I scooted next to her and kissed her to shut her up. “I love you Abby, regardless of anything.” I said and she smiled and kissed me again. God, I’m a lucky guy.
