**A/N CHAPTER 40 GUYS!!!! THANKS FOR READING!

Abby’s Point of View

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and I didn’t feel arms around my waist; Scarlett wasn’t in her make shift bed. I got up and put on the closest hoodie I could find because it’s cold. I walked out of the back lounge and quietly through the bunk room. I entered the kitchen area and saw Oli standing over a small stove making pancakes and Scarlett was sitting on a chair behind him. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist and I hear him chucked. “Morning Love.” He said and flipped the pancakes. “Morning Oli, Merry Christmas.” I said as he turned to face me. “Merry Christmas Love.” He said and kissed me lightly. I turned and saw Matty walk out from the bunk room. “Abby, what are you doing here?” he asked and I glanced over to Oli and back to Matty. “Merry Christmas, Matty!” I said and he laughed and went over and picked up Scarlett and set her on his lap. Lee walked out of the bunk room and smiled at me, “Hey Abbs, Merry Christmas…and Oli way to almost burn our breakfast.” He said and took the pancakes out of the pan. “Merry Christmas Lee.” I said and Oli handed Scarlett back to me so he could help Lee dish out food. He stacked my plate high with three pancakes, but he only put one on his. “Babe, do you want one of mine?” I whispered to him when he sat down with me at the little table. “No, I’m okay Love, I had a few earlier when I was making them…” he said quietly and I let it go for now but I made a mental note to ask him about it later. Everyone ate and chatted about random things and Oli sat there almost never saying a word and when most people were done he got up to put the cooking things away and I opted not to follow him into the kitchen. “When do you go back home, Abby?” Matty asked and I sighed. “Tonight, it was the only available flight for the next three weeks.” I said and no on commented about it.

We waited about an hour and then we decided to exchange presents. The guys had some cool presents for each other and I didn’t expect anything for myself seeing as though they didn’t expect me to be here. Matty opened a present from Jona and it was plastic toy drum sticks. “Maybe you won’t break them now mate.” Jona said and everyone started laughing. I was laughing and I stopped because I got another sharp pain in my stomach, I held it until it went away. Eventually I will tell someone what it is all about, but until then I guess it’s just another secret.

Oli’s Point of View

I walked out of the bathroom from getting changed and showering and I saw Abby sitting on the couch with Scarlett and the guys and they were in the middle of opening presents. I told everyone not to get anything for me so they didn’t; I was trying to save up my money for Abby and my house we’re going to buy when tour is over. She looks so beautiful even though she was wearing something so simple. She had on some red Christmas sweater, leggings, black Uggs, her infinity necklace I gave her, and a white beanie. I couldn’t tell if she was wearing makeup or not but she probably was. I threw my old clothes in my bunk and then grabbed a box before walking out into the ‘living room’; I hid the box and walked over to Abby. “Take a walk with me?” I asked and extended my hand to her. “I’d be delighted.” She said and turned her head to hide her blush, she took my hand and Matty took Scarlett. I led her to the door and we walked outside; there was a little bit of snow on the ground and it was still lightly falling. We walked for a few minutes in silence, just holding hands. Until we came to a small park and we sat down on the bench after I brushed the snow off of it. She looked at me and smiled. “What’s up Babe?” she said and I took a deep breath and looked her in the eyes. “Abby, I love you so much and when you’re in the room I can’t keep my eyes off of you. You’re my best friend and the only girl I ever want to be with. I’m so glad I found you and I have you. Now just one thing left, I want to have you to myself for the rest of my life.” I said and pulled the box out of my pocket and opened it, and it made her gasp. “Abby Marie Nichollos, will you marry me?” I asked and looked into her eyes; there was something there that I hadn’t seen in a long time, secret. “Oli, I love you so much…but right now, I just can’t.” she said and I felt my heart shatter into a thousand pieces. “Why not, was it something I said or did wrong?” my voice was shaking when I spoke. “No it’s not you I promise, it’s…it’s just not a good time for me.” She said and I stood up and closed the box with the ring inside of it, “Oli, please wait, I can explain.” She said and grabbed my wrist, which hurt like hell on contact. “I’m done listening to your bullshit excuses Abby, Merry fucking Christmas. Have a nice flight home.” I said and pulled my arm out of her grip and walked back to the bus. I heard her yelling to me from where she was but she didn’t chase after me.

I got to the bus and walked inside, ignoring all of the questions from the guys. I quickly grabbed a few things before I went to the back lounge and locked the door behind me. I sat down on the couch and looked for her stuff but then realized she packed up this morning and put everything in my bunk. I turned put a CD into the radio in the back and played ‘Every Rose Has Its Torn’ by Poison. I opened a bottle of whiskey and took a sip of the strange tasting liquid. Every couple minutes I heard a bang on the door but I just ignored it, I don’t even care who it is, I’m not in the mood. I grabbed a small blade out of my pocket and looked at it. I held it to my skin and took a deep breath, what have I come to?
